Synchronising Universal with Linux PC?

Hi,
I think I already know the answer to this question, as I couldn't find anything on this forum or on Google, but was just wondering if anyone had found a way to sync their Universal or other WM5 device with a Linux box? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, sadly you're right, hopefully somebody will be working on it though! Thanks for the replies!

Synchronizing Linux works nicely now using synce with WM5.
But has anyone had any success using it with WM6? I get Activesync on the device *****ing about upgrading Activesync.

Email and Internet troubles?

Ok I am lost. I can't seem to find anything to help me step by step. I updated to XDA Live and now I can't get my email or internet? Please help. I have a Cingular 8525 phone. Cingular service. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Yet Another T-Zones Thread, Help With IM

Hi there,
I have T-Zones for T-Mobile in the U.S.
Has anyone ever had an Instant Messaging client that worked?
Is there anyway for this to work?
I have searched a lot of threads and forums, but never had a straight up answer.
Please help get this working. I REALLY want Instant Messaging on my phone.

What kind of phone do you have?

Use the IM client from the T-Mobile US MDA (Wizard) ROM.
It'll install and run just fine. Won't use T-Zones though. It uses txt.

I have used OZ. Sorry forgot to mention that one.
But Its a pretty bad IM clien, and no MSN, most of my contacts are MSN.

WM Internet Connection Sharing to multiple devices?

Hi guys!
I have two desktops (Windows XP and Vista) and one XDA Orbit II.
I want to connect both of these two PCs at the same time to Internet via my XDA.
Is it possible? Do you have any ideas?
Any help will be appreciated.

Don't think it's possible...
Unless you use something like WMWiFiRouter.

As I know, WMWiFiRouter is only for sharing a connection between a WM device and one desktop (Ad Hoc). Is it wrong?

Thanks a lot! That was a good idea.
I have two PCs connected to my mobile phone so far.
My next problem is to make this connection secure as possible.
WMWiFiRouter only allows me to select WEP, not WPA.
It's a HTC Touch Cruise with WM6.
I would again appreciate if somebody could tell something more about it.
Or maybe I shall ask in the WMWiFiRouter thread? Which of them is actual?

Fishtext - Help

I use Fishtext on my HD2 however I am having some big ass problems with the GRPS setting. I think it is something to do with the JAVA (JBLEND) program.. Can any one help?
I get a message saying that is it unable to connect to the server. I am connected to the next.

I have the best phone in the world and I cannot get Fishtext to work. Keeping on saying cannot connect. Check GPRS SETTING.

do other programs work ok over gprs? can you surf the web? (turn off 3g to test )

Yes. I can do everything. Internet, skype, straming music.. You name it I can do it.. FISHTEXT. no..

does fish text require you to connect to a special server?
have you emailed fish text support? more likely to get an answer from them than from here.

IT does connect to a special IP address. I have thought it my be the JAVA???

just been to their site and they have a special page just for people with gprs problems. did you look through that?(it also means that chances are it isn't the phone at fault)

Esmertec Jbed 20081203.2.1.cab works however it does not access the phonebook so you have put in the number manually.
This means its is the JM. Does any have all the latests JM JBLEND, JBED etc etc.
