Sorry, I am new to this forum, and I am new to this phone as well.
Question that I ask ould be very basic.
Anyone can sugest to me how to update the ROM of the VPA 1605 Compact III, from the German version ROM to an English version?
For this its the ROM or Extended ROM which has to be updated?
Someone pls advise.

Welcome to the Forum.
Some things to remember whilst on the forum:
Do a search or two before posting - use either the search link on the brown bar at the top of the page or use the Google sticky near the top of the messages list.
Pick the right forum and post a question if the search reveals nothing. Do not cross post the same question in several fora.
If you have to start a new thread make the thread descriptive. You could have used "Can I flash an English ROM onto my German Vodafone VPA Compact III" - though to be honest the answer to that is available if you read in the Hermes upgrading forum.
Read the Wiki - this is a sort of indexed library of the more certain facts about HTC devices. The Hermes has its own section. A link is on the brown bar near the top of the page or in the Search Google sticky post.

Two months ago i buy from internet one qtek s100 MDA from T-mobile unlock in Germany.When i take on my hand i found that all the operation application was in German language and not in English.
Is any one who knows how can i switch the windows mobile 3 program from German operation language to English? What i have to do ?

It is possible to have clear instructions for how I can change the version from German to English on my qtek s100 MDA ?
The link i gave you has an attached pdf file with very well explained process. Many beginners have used this link and have successfully upgraded their devices. There are other threads also.
The process requires some basic computer technical skills. I don't mean to undermine you, but if not done correctly the device can turn into a brick.
