problems
1. As i exit from media player without stoping the media my device sound goes off.all the vol. tab are at maximum but no sound at all even no ringing .
2. storage card data converts into junk fie names like #$#2%&&%^^ ect. with very large file size more than the capacity of crad.
3. device keeps restarting even at full battery.
4. when device is at silent mode some system notifiction sound comes.
5. camera do not start at all times.
to overcome all this i have to restart my device .
is anyone can help me for this?

In my xda 2 (dunno why) there is no sound and sim card cant show contact list ;(
1. No dound in calls and microphon looks turned off. (but mp3 and videos have the sound)
2. Cant see any contact list from sim card...

Hi. O2 swapped out my 2s for a 2i. I've got a MMC card with some MP3s on used to play fine in WMP9 on the 2s however... on the 2i the song cuts out randomly and crashes WMP10 until I take the card out and put it back in or do a soft reset. Also my friend with another 2i has the same problem playing video files from storage card it hangs in random places... Anyone else experienced this?

I have similar issues though I find its if I actually have something running/playing from the storage card and have to use the phone...
so its just another crappy bug then? Text messages or the phone ringing also kill WMP on mine aswell...
I've had problems with SD card on my XDA 2i.
It keeps freezing up when programs are run from storage card, or playing music or video from storage card.
Anyone else come across this? And is there a solution to it?
Is anyone able to shed some ight on this problem?
I cannot fit much else on the built in memory after installing tom tom navigation software and maps. Installing it to the memory card causes the program to freeze after a few minutes, and i have to reset.
Please help.

I woul not run programs from the SD. Just store the maps there. I'm using Tom Tom too - installed in main memory and maps on SD.
Hi, I had a similar problem with my II when running TomTom, with the maps on the sd card. Changed the make of the card and all now well. Seemed as if the card was not compatable with the XDA.

I have recently bought XDAIIi a month ago.
I really don't use the pda much, but I bought it just bcos I fancy it.
But now it is getting struck too often, mostly while I listen to mp3 music. while I am playing he playlist, player freeze down :roll: If I leave the device as it is the whole device will freeze after a while.
I have taken off the SD card out, when media player was frozen and re-inserted. By doing this player comes back from frozen state. there was no problem with my SD card as I can still browse to it from file explorer
Has any one had the same problem
i run th eprocessor in std. mode not in turbo mode
I wonder if it make anything better by running in turbo mode. but I don't want to waste lot of power

I tried to look properly into the problem.My XDA IIi has problem accessing the SD card, while I am listing to the music on it.
While playing the music on SD card Windows media player halts. Player strucks because it can't access SD card. This was also proved, when I tried to browse to File Explorer as I can't access SD card.
Only way to get out of frozen state is to remove the SD card and wait for WM player error and insert it back, when I can browse to the SD card or can see and play music library.
If I don't do this whole XDA freeze not just music player or file explorer :!:
This problem is a really letting me down.I am infact thinking to put this on e-bay.
I have upgraded XDA from O2-UK website, still same problem. Removed battery to reformat still same problem. :roll:

Dear all,
I'm currently using Dopod D810 and i am having some problems using it.
1.) Serious Delay while trying to stop recording (after 10 mins or 1 hour ) using Resco Audio Recording. It will hang for few minutes until i can do other task. Any incoming call reach at that timing, i cannot answer it. Default Storage is Memory Card
2.) Serious Delay while using the default video recording. It will lag while i'm trying to record video every 1.5s & default storage is main memory & using default resolution.
3.) TCPMP Fuzzy Screen as other described but i will try to resolve it using the methods that suggested in this forum.
i don't know what's wrong with the dopod d810 and previously using the O2 mini (magician) and i'm happy with 02 mini.
i tried to overclock it to 500mhz and it doesn't help while doing the video / voice recording.
I tried 2GB Transcend & 2GB Toshiba memory card (the salesman tell me those were 80x memory card but i don't see any 80x label on the card)
Anyone can suggest me what to do with this problem ? will it help if i change my memory card ? Any 150x miniSD card you all can recommend. I hardly found 150x branded miniSD.

I suggest using SanDisk Ultra II mini-SD cards. Most reliable and very fast. When your current cards don't say 80x, then they sure are not that speed...your salesman lied to you.
When I upgrade my O2 IIs to Win Mobile 6 of Helmi, I cannot watch wmv. files. They are played very slowly and are interupted many times. How can I solve this problem. Welcome and thank you for any advice.

video problems
Having video problems too.
TCPMP needs to start in portrait orientation otherwise video only plays in full screen mode.... quite annoying.
Playing certain games causes screen to lock while game starts with music in background.... had same problem with latest xplod kitchen, had to then revert to helmis wm5 ROM.
Did you try to play the video from main memory? I tried it with a .wma file and it plays ok from RAM but stutters when on SD Card. Maybe there is a driver problem with the SD Card that it is too slow?
Throught Wifi I usualy use Media Player to see TV channels (mms://195.245.176....) and the sound and image is OK no problem at all.
Also throught Activesync Sound and image is OK!!
I do not think that is a SD driver issue because with Audio Manager we can ear sound OK from SD source.
So I think that the problem is in the way WMP reads information from the SD card.
I confirm that one MP3 file played in SD card has sound problems (speed on playing in the begining, then stabilizes), the same file copied to the BA memory works great!!
With WMA files the situation is the same, some speed problems at the begining then stabilizes, from BA memory no problem!
PROBLEM DETECTED!!
Other thing i notice is that when running full screen the image does not rotate to landscape.
Does xplode and helmi agree with this?

same problem here.i tryed AUDIO MANAGER(read in other thread,that it works smooth) but i dont get it to run( certificate problem or missing part..thing).could someone help me figure out the RIGHT files and correct installation guide?

2. Market downloads are painfully slow( im using home wireless internet ( 5 mbits/s wireless internet) and i tried to unmount my sd card while downloading from market, but no use... its still slow as hell)
I know that for 2nd question , solution is to unmount sd card before and mount after download, but is there any new solution ?
And please answer first question

One more problem : i set up screen lock sound , and i was using it for like one week. And all of the sudden, it got so low i cant hear it at all... I havent changed anything in settigns.. But other sound levels ( ringtone, sms notification, alarm) are good (high) ..
Please guys help me with these 3 questions
