Been using MMS Lite on my SoftBank X01HT (unmodified), and I suddenly lost my emails one morning...
I dont know what happened... I woke-up one morning that inspite of the email headers available (what you see from the Folder view), those emails dont have any body - just a blank white space.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any ideas, etc?

I'm running 1.66.00WWE & when i send SMS messages to people sometimes only half of it comes through for them. The SMS's are not over the character limit, for example a 20 char SMS sometimes only comes out with the first 10.
Anyone else had this problem or know of a solution?
I've had this problem before. For the recipient, it's similar to that of recieving a multi-page sms which of course takes time to update on their phone.
I just wrote it off as a service provider problem, but if others have the same problem, maybe it is handset related.
Truncated SMS Messages
I too am having problems with truncated messages (just no text actually) on some occasions. Not sure if it is reception related or what. Can anyone help. I'm running latest versions of ROM on o2 XDA II, using an Orange SIM
In my case it was all or nothing. I ended up putting +44 in front of all my UK mobile numbers and that seemed to solve it -not sure if it is the same problem as you are having though.
I also had the similar prob before, and got it solved with the help of gazzaman2k. Try this out, this might do it.
1.) Go to Inbox
2.) At the bottom, Click Accounts, then Accounts again.
3.) Tap *SMS
4.) Untick \"Send SMS messages using unicode when necessary\"
5.) Press \'OK\' then the \'X\'
Let me know if this fixes it.

YUP, unticking that SEND SMS using UNICODE when necesarry will solve this problem, and TELL your friends about it. SERVICE providers GAIN a LOT from this bug coz you might think your sending only 1 SMS but actually it is counted as 2 or even 3 mesages by the network.

when i open my messages/SMS they seem to just open to a BLANK white background and not showing any text etc... it opens up the message but just can't read it as its not displaying it out in text, only a white background..! someone out there have a solution to this?

Have you guys figured what the problem was? I had this happened once and fixed it by clearing out all the email, but now it's doing it again.

I noticed the help screen from all program are also blank. Looks like it uses the same reader as the emails. Anybody know what reader this is and where it's located?

I use oldest Imate ROM for some months. I don't have an mms application installed (didnt work) and this morning someone sent me an MMS. The whole device crashed (screen kept blinking).
Now after several soft resets the messaging application keps popping up. very annoying - cant do anything for more then 3 secs! Does anyone have a clue how to solve this without hard reset? is it due to lack of mms app?
fixed. It was indeed MMS coming in without an MMS inbox installed. Finally managed to get the MMS inbox, MMS arrived and all is fine again.
How did you get mms mailbox installed? I'm having this problem as well...
I recently encountered this problem where my x1 says I have 1 new text but when I check my text messages there's no new text. Now my x1 keeps telling me that I have 1 unread text and it wont go away. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

1st time I solved by deleting mail database wich resides in the cemail file that's in the root of device (use totalcomander), keep in mind that this deletes also mail accounts.
2nd time it happened, I solved by deleting another SMS from manila interface.
since I applied the SMS fix to 5.04 it didn't happen again.
Anybody else having problems with sms/text messages not working in threads or is it just me ?
Also when adding a person to the contact list it does not show the name in text messages unless it´s without +45.
Any thoughts ?

if you're using Telenor's firmware, yes that's what happens... use O2's firmware, there shouldn't be any contact bugs
kk thx, will have to give that one a shot then.... But have just been setting it all up...again
Thats weird, as I have the telenor one, ( I think, weide tv.nu icons etc) and I dont have this issue, no +45 either on the phone or in exchange , synced with moxier, and no issues with threaded sms..
