Creating a simple Calendar App - need help

Dear bros,
I'm having the Diamond, and a number of owners including me are not happy abt the number of appointments shown in the front page of the touchFlo3D.
Therefore, I have decided to create a small app that will open up in a small window (or a nice background) and will display all upcoming appointments regardless of which day it falls on.
This function is very similar to O2plus plugin as you can see in one of my older today screens:

The thing is, I plan to use VB.net but I'm kinda lost. *please don't flame me on this.. just asking help
I've used the classic VB for windows apps long time ago and I've lost touch. I'd really appreciate if someone could help me with the code, just to display the next appointment or something. I'll build it up from there.

I'm verry happy with this theme but when i get al call i'v got 2 call displays
Is there any way i can turn of the original call display so i get only the modified
display???

I guess you are using s2u2 only for locking?

New HD and some questions

Hello all,
I bought today HTC HD and I have got some questions, I'll be very pleased if you aswer it:
- What can I do to this phone and don't lose techn. warranty (Can I install WM 6.5 instead 6.1, change my TouchFlo design etc?)
- Is 6.5 better than 6.1 (I mean is it working faster than 6.1)?
- Can I add to my HD 'quick launch icons' on the 'main menu' like here on iphone

- How to block using 'paid internet' I want to only connect via WiFi is there any solution to do this?
- Are there some applictaions to increase battery life or mane mobile work faster?

The backroud is white, can I change color of backround (or add there my image?)

Big Finger help required!

Hi, i've been the owner of a windows mobile phone for only a short while now, but one thing i noticed is the querty keyboard.
Now the point is, i have realy big fingers ( ) so i cannot hit all keys well enough.
Recently my girlfriends sister got a new phone which has a default(see the pic) numeric type keyboard but on touchscreen.
What i was wondering, is there anything like it for windows mobile?
I am running windows mobile 6.1 by the way

welll i use touch pal, has 3 layouts, i like it i test several softwares and this is the only i like, its nots freeware but you should look if you like ;D

Phone Canvas for Treo Pro?

has any of you ever come across any ports of HTC Phone Canvas to our Treo Pro (WM6.1), like the ones depicted below? I have been looking for this all over, but to no avail.

i personally havent, sorry. the problem with the treo is that the screen is 320x320... and almost every other phone made is not a square resolution. there is a program that is called iconsoft phone extension. it gives you a new dialer, contact screen, and phone canvas. it is $25, but there is a free 15 day trial. for me, i usually flash my phone every week or two... so the limit doesnt really matter
you can check it out, it is very nice and replaces the default phone application. it does suck about 2mb of ram however

edit: it is really easy to use, and very finger friendly. i have tried using the different phone canvases, but they are usually hard to set up right...

yep, I had tried Iconsoft (PhonEx) before and have to admit it is very impressive indeed. Its footprint is discouraging as you have mentioned. On a relatively fresh system it works rather zippy but I wonder how things go with plenty other apps installed and running. Well, need to keep on looking and hoping for a port ...
