Just wondering if there is a way of getting push to talk feature to work on the Dopod 838 pro, have seen it on an old phone and use the feature alot at work, we use two way radios heaps but it would be so much better to be able just to use my phone all the time.

Search the Hermes upgrade forum the is a install cab file for PTT with it's own thread there.
Been using the search function and can't find this mysterious thread. Any help?
Just a suggestion, if your only answer to someone asking for help is going to be "use the search n00b!" then I would suggest simply not answering at all. One of two things will happen after that, either the person asking the question will use the search on their own and find the answer after no one responds to the question, or someone nicer will come along and go ahead and answer the question for them.
There is no cab to install PTT, it wont work like that (if it was that easy it would be working on wm6 by now)... The only roms with PTT integrated are the later cingular/ATT roms.. and its a subscription based service.. if your provider doesnt support the Kodiak PTT system then it will be of no use to you...

For viewing Persian/Farsi texts adding farsi fonts is not the solution :!: you need a software to change the words to right to left,so by my idea you all need Pocket Arabizer which is embedded in i-mate rom,after installing that you have the ability to view Persian/Farsi text and even writing whatever you want in messaging or making a file.
For owners of brands other than i-mate you can purchase the Application.

Lingvosoft is only a Dictionary and the Farsi Application from Paragon is not Compatible with WM5.

As far as i know it can't be done cause in the beginning of arabizer installation it detects the IMEI and if it's not an i-mate branded it prompts you that it can't be installed.
so i have a qtek 9000 in italian any solutione ?

is there a turkish rom or OS (wm 2003 or higher) in turkish language available?
I tried out several language apps like paragon or LEng language extender but its not the same as a turkish ROM or OS.

The problem is that I bought this phone from a friend who has flashed a WM6.1 Rom but English and I dont want it. In addition he doesnt give me the user id and pass to download the official Image. only radio update won't work, you gotta change the rom completely because turkcell rom also has radio but deactivated, maybe a .cab will fix it but there's a long way to figure it out

your best bet is to install new rom. and hardSPL of course. you wont regret.
otherwise yes cab's can fix it, but all you need is few clicks and registry edits, and you got your self radio app back.

Please use htcfm.exe, from extracting to hd2 debug tools, it's a simple fm test program but you can listen radio in turkey.
