TCPMP 072 ?
Why not 081 ?
Link : http://amd.co.at/anti/virus/TCPMP_0_0_81.rar
Thanks for your quick reply, what version do you think fits best with advantage? I´m a newbie with the device and Ive hear some of then dont work too good. Better 0,72rc1 or 0_0_81
Thanks
I suggest the official website
http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/download
or main page http://www.corecoded.com/

I'm using 081.
But don't forget to swotch to "DirectDraw" under preferences-video-settings.
The first link doesn't work anymore.
And the second one is wrong.
I don't think the CoreCodec-guys support TCPMP anymore, they probably will try to sell you CorePlayer instead.

I didn't try second link, but first one is working, i just downloaded it.
Still doesn't work for me, and I've tried it with different computers with different connections to the net. Even my Advantage couldn't find that site...

TCPMP codecs here
Hi all. Struggled to get XDA to allow this upload before, but almost got it all up this time.
This is the Official last version of TCPMP v0.72 RC.
The next post will have the main application, these are all the needed codecs.
P.S. best image quality and performance will be derived from using the Imageon driver, NOT the Imageon Hardware decoder. Looks and plays much faster than Direct Draw or Rawframebuffer, but does have some fuzziness across the GUI....but not during full screen playback.
Enjoy.
Oh well still can't upload. Try this link instead: http://blogs.shintak.info/articles/2275.aspx
What version works better in the advantage, 0,81 or 0,72 whats your opinion?
Thanks in advance

I will only use official version 0.72 RC and it works better than their commercial Coreplayer and has AC3 support via codec plug-in.
Apparently 0.81 works fine too, but the official one suits me just fine.
Hi guys! Im currently a noob around here but i did started browsing all over the forum and i quite like the information shared around here which is fantastic!
Okay,it's like this..i installed TCPMP v.072 on my Hermes lately and i thought it would run normally as it would do on my iPAQ 5450..but when i loaded the video files, the whole player starts to shake and stumble around even the taskbar! the whole screen gone crazy! but when i played it on fullscreen and on normal window, the thing works fine! but i do notice there's a reduction of quality on the video.. when i first installed it,the installer says that it has disable my ATI Imageon as it is a must..why? was it because of this the whole player gone crazy? is there any suggestions on how i could fix this problem..was it just because of the compability issue? my Hermes is a Dopod 838 and running on WM6..when it was WM5,the same problem occurs..well i guess its not the OS issue then..
Get the ATI fix from Here and see if it helps. Should do the trick.

And get v0.81Hermes
Alternatively, Coreplayer 1.1 works perfectly on the Hermes - 1.0.4 didn't. This is the evolution of TCPMP, but sadly it's not freeware. IMHO definitely worth having though.
Does core player do youtube like TCPMP?
oh! many thanx! i haven't tried fixing the ATI,maybe i ought for a try now..
yeah..i was wondering too..does the coreplayer do youtube?

hey thanx DjStiky for the ATIfix! it works! finally..god..i thought my hermes doesn't support TCPMP..it was the ATI fault all along!

Thanks but only youtube or most flash/flash video sites?
Only successfully tested with YouTube. MyVideo, PornTube won't work for me.

I tried this application on my Touch Cruise, but Opera is getting too slow to work with, infact, it will crash and have to soft reset.

LooL.... Be carfull of PornTube.... I have heard its a trojan site that requires you to download a file and run it, in order to play its nookie movies !
Nogs
BTW does the Touch HD come with flash lite 2.x?
If so, do you have to remove that first before installing flash lite 3.1?
Nothing to remove... Just install flash 3.1 on your device and it goes!
Put it on and took it straight back off again.
Works on Youtube - just about - but not on iPlayer or anything much else I tried for that matter. On Youtube it's choppy and imapcts the interface. I also had my SIP pop up everytime I tried to zoom or pan the page. I may have seen a fix for that somewhere in the Forums but frankly can't be bothered as it's not that much worth having as it stands.
I appreciate this is close to cutting edge stuff but it's taking an age to get this sorted for Opera.

tried it, its not compatible with the screen resolution, I was using this on my Kaiser and its by far the best browser I've tried. It does indeed play embedded flash content
My only disappointment of the HD so far, lets hope its updated soon.

i shall from now on,bombard those skyfire developers on their website with requests to make it compatible with the touch hd ha ha..yeah hopefully there will be an update soon
The thing is that this flashlite version is just a leaked version of the original adobe one, which is still not released yet. we will have to waot a bit until they release the real verion which should then work without a prob
Sorry but to get this straight, are you saying that if I install this on a touch HD, its Opera will no only be able to support flash, but in terms of hitting a you tube video link, it will play in the stand alone you tube client a'la safari and iphone?

it means that youtube and other java based things will work like on your pc. so the youtube videos would run in the youtubepage without the need of opening the youtube application, even java games and more should work. but ofcourse, you can always watch youtube videos with the applicatiuon if you like.

Try IE 6, which comes with the Leo/HD2, it supports flash. What I do is when I want to surf fast I use Opera, whenever I visit a page that has videos embedded, I use IE.

Hi Nick,
I'm guessing you are using the bundled Opera 9.7 to browse these sites?
If so, the Flash 3.1 for Opera (I got it from the X1 forum) seems to work for a lot of the sites on my HD2, but there again, I use Skyfire now anyway.
