Hi all
I don't know what happened.. Suddenly i noticed that the inbox icon is not available on my i-mate desktop anymore.. I tried to go to today>Items but there are only for things to check:date, owner info, tasks, and calendar....
Is there something else to do in order to get it back as it was on my desktop??

Well I'm confused :shock:
Finally decided to add contacts to my activesync process. All went smooth except... there are about 3 contacts that the number is displayed as (13) 0073-5363 instead of (like the rest of them) 1300735363.
Outlook will not let me change it and nor will the mini :!: weird
Can't seem to find anything in the settings (like changing the name feature) so just wondering if anyone knows of a fix?

it is because of your REGIONAL SETTINGS...
u can switch to other profile...go to SETTINGS...
try on ENGLISH (AUSTRALIA) should be able to view the numbers without any bracket or anything else...
very simple thing to do...try and see...
by the way, if that doesn't help,...then i'm sorry...
coz i'm a rookie also....

Most of the times smartdialing only displays my outlook contacts, but I also want it to show the sim contacts.
Sometimes it does ?!? I can't find anything in the settings about that.
Weird?

i have be facing a problem..i have o2 XDAII mini running on wm2003SE..the problem it that my default messages tab on today screen disappears if i install some programs.i have even checked it in the today screen plugins.it not found.due to this i cant know how many msgs i have recieved..
Is there any registry hacks to solve this problem???

Got this problem: when I choose Menu=>New or Reply in Manila, I get Inbox on the screen instead of usual screen with recepient, text etc. Same thing, when I go to Menu=>New from the Inbox, nothing happens (although I can create a new MMS). It looks like the phone doesn't know how to handle a new sms anymore. Has anyone had this problem?

Have you recently changed anything on your device, flashed a new rom etc?
What rom are you using?
I've had my HTC about 3 weeks and it's the first smartphone I've had so my question may be a bit stupid to you experts

I've had problems with text messages randomly getting stuck in outbox and not being sent.
I've searched on the internet and found HTC have issued a fix LEO08007-07 so I downloaded it from the HTC site and have installed it.
It appears the TODAY app with all the weather , pictures, music shortcuts has now disappeared and I'm getting a blank front screen. The settings menu has changed and I cant access the HTC Message app at all
What have I done wrong and how can I get it back.

If you've not done too many customisations I'd suggest a hard reset. To do this, turn the unit off, hold down both vol up and vol down and turn it back on and follow the screen instructions. I'd recommend doing this with both SD card and SIM card removed to be on the safe side

Its look like you have a bad settings for O2 (data,messages,..)
Go to Start\O2 and click Get Settings.
It should help. If no try this(only for SMS and Voice Mail )
Start\Settings\Personal\Phone\Services choose Voice Mail and Text Messages than press Get Settings.
It should show you these numbers if not fill it
Text massages service center: +447802000332
Voice Mail: 901
Press OK
All done
