every time i try to play a wave or mp3 file it says something about an interface not found
so downloaded Vito Audio player and it playes my music fine

I've encountered a little problem. I'm using PocketMusic as my default player because it sorts by track number (unlike the built in media player), and thus the filetype .mp3 is associated with it. However, if I try to assign an mp3 as my default ringtone, it firstly won't let me preview it, and secondly, it reassigns the default ringtone when I press ok. However, if I remove the file association from PocketMusic, then it works fine again.
I suspect that the audio notifications engine must run on the built-in Media Player and that this cannot be changed.
Is anyone using another media player and having the same problems?
Yep, I have seen this installing any other media player that want to take over the default file associations. Don't let them associate or you won't get any ringers =[. I also suspect that Windows Media Players shares the 'engine' for ringers.

changing your default audio player can have issues if you use MP3 ringtones. if you use other than WMP, sometimes the MP3 ringtone will not play.
I would like to know if there is any method can play the WAV file in Xpanel audio player instead of Windows Media player?
Since i open music in Xpanel Albums, it will redirect and play the music in windows media player automatically.

I am looking for a program with a resume function when listening to mp3-podcasts files. I know the Resume plugin for Windows Media player but it
doesn't work well and I don't like WMP.
Coreplayer has a resume function but it works only for the last listened mp3 file.
Is there a program where you can resume many mp3 files?

I'm struggling with streaming podcasts with my HD2. When I click on a link such as a .mp3, I'm directed to download the entire file before listening. I would like to have the link open the music player WMP or TCMP for streaming. The default program is to open WMP, which will not stream .mp3 as it is currently set up. I'm thinking the only way might be to set the default audio program for .mp3 or whatever to TCMP wich will then stream the audio.
