xda sim lock

hi i am a german guy and i need some help!!!
i have the german o2 xda1
and i want to unlock it with the xda manipulator!!!
is this possible????????

i have do it but it comes the notic "error getting unlock code"
what shell i do???

in this case u have to flash your XDA with a cooked ROM 3.17 from the kitchen at www.yorch.net. cook the ROM as exe file and it will unlock your device with the first boot.
if this doesn't work, then you have to cook the ROM as .nb1 file and use SD card to flash your XDA.

if you do have a serial cable for the XDA and you don't want to have an english rom use it with the xda-manipulator. It works fine without cooking some kind of rom.

Hi to all,
It seems that I have very comlicated situation. Firstly, I have flashed my german rom with extended customized rom and now i am stucked at my O2 screen and nothing happens. I can just enter to boot loader mode. When I enter to boot loader mode and when I want to flash with HTC od DOPOD or any wwe rom I get eror 244 - no valid ID.... I can not use my XDA orbit any more or boot it to windows so I would really like someone to transfer to me his experience. Please help.

...or please if you know where to find Xda orbit GErman rom to download. Since no one can update to WWE his non WWE rom I would like just to make my Xda usable with old German one. Hmmm, ironicly NOW I CAN not find that german rom to download... Please Help!

i cant quite follow on what you mean by "flashed my german rom with extended customized rom".
did you fiddle with your extrom or what?
nevertheless, eror 244 - no valid ID, means you are flashing an incompatible rom. this is due to your machine only accepting o2 xda machine code roms. only way to get passed this is to acquire supercid, meaning unlocking your machine via http://www.imei-check.co.uk/c3unlock.php
in order to flash the htc or dopod roms.
since there is no o2 xda rom around, akaik, you will not be able to regain your system, unless you are able to flash an alternative rom, which needs you to be supercid. havent heard of anyone being able to dump a rom properly yet, neither being able to reflash it to another machine

The think I do is - I have installed EXT Rom in English on my German O2 Xda ROM. I stucked myself at O2 Xda orbit log screen. I can not go further with booting. I am hapy anyway that I can go to boot loader.
Do you know where I can download GERMAN Oreginal Xda orbit rom so I can return to old one and at least use my machine???
Can we expect easy way of changing rom like with Qtek s110 or Xda Neo???
Please can anyone EXPLAIN DETAILED INFORMATION and procedure of unlocking via imei chack.

I'm Junior Member, and I have exactly the same problem that you have. I need the original Rom of O2 XDA Orbit so I can return to wm5 or wm6 then I can connect to activesync to unlock the phone, after that I can install other roms... please someone reply to us the link to download this image...

I found a German ROM for my o2 XDA on the FTP site - here is the link...

Maybe it isnt what you are lookng for, but it got me out of a pinch today.

i have found the rom.And have try it.I can only boot in booloader mode.Nothing else work.If i activate bootloader mode and plug in the usb cable i hear the sound that usb is connected.But if i start the original rom update it doesn't recognize the phone. Error 260 appears Verbindung(connection)

I also had to load this rom from bootloader. If the rom doesnt see the phone, restart the phone into bootloader again. I noticed that if it tried to find the phone once and couldnt, it would not ever be able to unless I reset the phone and put it back in bootloader. this rom will work, just keep playing with it.

1. Is the Rom an Original HTC 3300 ROM? (with TomTom inside)
2. Is this ROM WM5 or WM6? (nobody answered that question yet)
3. Which file inside the arcive should be used?
<P3300_softwareupdate_GER_1.exe> or
<P3300_softwareupdate_GER_2.exe> or both
4. In which order should I use that two files?
As long as these question are`t answered, everybody should keep the fingers away from flashing, because he did`t know, what he is doing. Some help from a "guru" would be helpfully. =

bring it to service... you will NEVER get it alive with roms provided here.
you need to ahrd-spl before flashing.a nd you cannot unbrick it without a Terra ROM....
.... and there is NO - NO- NO terra rom..

ask O2. they sell the terra but they say an update has to come from HTC. But HTC update don´t work on Terra. And at last NOONE is responsibil!!!

hi, i am also using xda terra and i just flashed the rom, it was working fine until i tried to back up my phone using spb backup and now the phone is not booting up, only 1 contstant screen with smart mobility on it is showing, am I having the same problem and there is no solution for that except bringing them to professional to be fixed? If that is the case, I am staying in UK now, where can i get my phone fixed?
