i have search everywhere on the internet, couldn't find the software, and i don't want to buy it from expansys as well, so....i guess i don't know about this one

I tested it today with Athena.. the fonts looks ugly... Tweaking at the moment. For non-VGA devices such as Trinity, it looks ok.

Yup hes right. It changes the entire UI to english. Actually an overlay. Like a translator.

did you buy it? or did you download it somewhere? i used to use CE-STAR before, didn't remember that it can transfer the UI to english...it wasn't old version as well.

I think what you need is not CE-STAR , but CE-STAR English Suite, like the one in expansys.

Hey Katsj I ordered from nowicom based on some of your comments. Anyway, I just took a risk and have no idea how to flash the English ROM. The support at nowicom said it was a simple update and said she didn't know how to do it either :shock: Although, she said that she would find out tomorrow. My device should be shipped tomorrow
Mike believe me flashing a pocket pc its extremely easy! My MDA compact will be shipped tomorrow with UPS Express I asked for the fastest way and I am willing to pay the 92 euros for the next day delivery!
I will let you know as soon as I flash mine and I will give you all the details!

@katsj: Could you upload the English MDA Compact ROM, or even better:
Intellidialer.cab, Intellipad.cab (in ExtRom) and cprog.exe (in windows) . . . .
If I get the english rom then I will upload all the extended rom files. Nowicom didnt send us a link as they promised today!

I tried to get one here in Japan but they don't have it in English and the store said Toshiba won't be making it in English. Sounds fishy to me! Plus: nothin I did realy found out, perhaps sound is a little louder and better quality. And the UI including HTC Hub seems to be smoother. But I could be wrong...
Cons: I didn't see any difference with automatic light sensor on. Allways the same brightness. Or did this only works depending to the clock?
Call interruptions are gone, but this could be another issue.
