Can you be more specific about the files/programs in question? Better still if you could upload them here for others to see if its a problem with the files or the pc or phone.

Mac support

I am looking for a way to sync ical with my tasks and appointments on my phone. Ive found software online and whatnot, but nothing for 5.0. anyone know of anything? I would really appreciate it.
Missing Sync for Windows Mobile
I'm using Missing Sync for Windows Mobile on my OS X MBP. It works great and you can install .cab applications with it as well. Unfortunately you still need a windows machine/install to install the .exe stuff but I've found most software vendors for PPC apps supply a .cab install option now as well.

cool ill track down a PC and try it out. THanks!
You won't need a PC to install Missing Sync, it's a Mac universal binary. What I was speaking of are applications for the PPC device that require you to run an executable on a host PC (windows) to then install the application on to your device. However I just found this on another forum and I think I'm going to give it a try.
File Juicer - one of the features is "Extract CAB files from Pocket PC self installing EXE files" once you have the .cab you can install the application via missing sync.

oh I think i found this once, but 40$ and no trial scared me...

missing sync problem with mac osx

my device just came in yesterday!
tried to establish the sync with osx
and the missing sync kept telling me cann't istall missingsync.cab to my athena!
anyone who can provide the missingsync.cab file?
also tried my hermes but works perfectly!
It in the Missing Sync for Windows Mobile.app file on your Mac. Go to the Missing Sync for Windows Mobile.app icon in your Applications/Missing Sync for Windows Mobile folder. - right click and 'Show Package Contents'
Then click on Contents/Resources folder. MissingSync.CAB is in there. Take a copy or drag it to your desktop with the alt key pressed. You then have to get it onto your device - either with an sd card or via bluetooth. Run it and it will install. You will also want to look at this thread.

Hello!
Depending on what your preference is, I highly reccomend trying out Resco Explorer, which has this feature. You just have to either be connected to your WLAN, or your computer and then click map drive. If you would like more details, just let me know.
I want do copy or paste files on my Pc from pda.and my resco is 2007 v6.0 and i don't have a mpadrive.

Hello!
First, there is a more recent version, of 6.00, but you have to contact Resco, to get that. They released a new version, and that is the only one available, on their website.
First, connect your device, to your Wireless Network, or plug-in your device to your computer.
You do the following, to map drive:
Menu>File>Network>Map Drive
Now, you double tap, on the computer listed. Then, make sure you put something in this next box; you can just use a space, under the password. This is not required, but makes it a lot easier, to use this in the future.
Then, click save, then yes. Now, you should see the folders, that are shared on your computer.
Let me know, how it goes for you.
It's working but i can't download files from shared folder
when i go to- menu>file>network -i have (for example) music and downloads(i ;ve shared them)but i can't explore them?
