Oops.. so I was sat today talking to friends waiting for a reply via text and had my phone in my hand with it slid out and I I was just playing with the keys with the end of my nails and caught my nail on the right softkey button. (the one that'd open Contacts) and now its kind of poking up at an angle and won't go back down! Tried to take photos of it but the macro on my camera isn't too good!

Any ideas what I can do? I never use this button so if there's a fix for it that'll keep it down but not as usable as the other keys, it'll do. It doesn't catch when I close the slide, but its annoying me loads!
I dont want to use my insurance because it'll just mean me not having a phone for ages, etc.
*slaps self for idiocy*
Jamie
some super glue perhaps?

I can confirm my power button works like the day I first got the phone!! (Keyboard buttons seem to have nicer feedback too!)
Ebay link to the part (ships from Florida):

Video with the teardown of the Epic (and reassembly is just the teardown backwards, **MAKE SURE NOT TO LOSE ANYTHING**)
Hope this is a great help to all of you who have been plagued by the dreaded half working or completely inoperable power button. Cheers!!
I fixed the video link and have a picture of the part from the ebay page too.
Hi guys,
So, my S7 Edge fall and it made a tiny (-1mm) mark on the chassis near the home/apps button BUT did not broke the screen, it was literally near screen on the bezel.
Now, when I press the Back button or when I'm touching my screen it randomly open the "close apps" screen like I was pressing it...
I already tried a factory restore (I thought it was after I update it) but the issue remains...
Any advise? I did not open it already because S7 is water proof and it will be a mess to close it right? Any ideas what can cause this? Whole screen or hardware?
Thanks!

Little appreciation to Lg designer, they deliberately put the switches little lower side for design continuity. I measure the case button position & they are exactly on v60 from bottom to button position.
They did this so user memory mussel won't get confuse.
On this gap

this is where 3rd mic seated. When i 1st get my DS i was upset they didn't keep a hole in their like cheap case/cove.
But when i saw the button position i discover this also. They did this way because the person who hold the phone during video recording will get much clear voice.
Just bought one of these for $280 open box brand new. This is surreal at this price. I guess people are worried about software updates but for the money who cares lol. What a freak in nice phone!
I opened my Mi 9T to replace the broken screen and accidentally removed the buttons while doing so. The problem is whenever I put them back in they just fall out again, but they do work while inside the phone. I wasn't able to find any video or guide on this topic, so I'm hoping I can get some help here. Please see the attached photo. I think there must be a specific order and orientation in which these parts have to be inserted.

ok, I figured it out myself.
For the people arriving here from Google:
You have to press down the power and volume up button while inserting the metal piece and then the rubber part. This will lock in the buttons.
