wizard as webcam

Hello
I want to use my wizard as remote capture or as webcam.
Is ther any way to do this?

I looked through it and fihured out how to do it. Howver I will tell you right now, in any language, it is not worth the effort.
Howver if you are going to do it, I suggest using
Pocket Controller-Professional as aposed the free microsoft app, MS app sux.
Also the Soft Cam App also kinda sux...
But i guess its better than nothing.

It doesn't say wizard supported (im on cingular 8125) but it does say magician, i have yet to get this to work. Best of luck to others on getting it working.

CoolCamera version 1.11 works as Webcamera on HTC Wizard (and other models).

I confirm, sup2006 is right! The last version of coolcamera finally does it, you can use your wizard as a webcam

this works pretty good... too bad it only works for 25 seconds for the unregistered version... does anyone have the update or whatever to make it the full version????

Well, PCP has been tried and all I can say is:

Its ace and if you are willing to spend cash, then this is it.
LOL, its excellent, I have no idea about most of the features as I have just used it for 10 minutes and went straight for the kill with the remote camera.
Actually, I say remote camera, the entire device is remote, you just see on the PC what is on the device screen.
Definate must.
The one drawback I can see is that it doesnt work if the device is in standby. i.e. One press of the power button. Coolcam works so I don't see why this doesn't, but hey, I'm not complaining,

Unlock Soloution for Jamin?

Looking at buying a T-Mobile Compact II but I am just wondering if there has been a free unlocking soloution released for this model?

At first time i checked on my magician & it was locked, then i unlock magician & prog says unlocked till present

I think the MDA Compact II/Charmer is different from the JAmin/Prophet.

meh... unless your using mobilkom in Austria how can you test the HSUPA??
linux... still like the Hermes and it boots but no GUI...
GPS... still doesnt support EGNOS or WAAS...

he said that he wasn't prepared to release it just yet when I assumed he was, but he released it anyway.. so, maybe you guys should watch him improve it a bit before you plan this.. no need to have three virtual shotguns right? since there already is one apart from g-shotgun...

Not sure why you need a new device to set a microsoft windows application from one supported device to another. The biggest change is the screen resolution wich is 640*480 for the diamond

dunno why but after choice a gun i cant do anything ... gsensor didnt work
and i can tap only 2 buttons ( close and treat off )

No, that's not the biggest difference... The g-sensor hardware is different! That's the difference.

2-how i can know the gps working well does it have a special programe coming in the device software
3-how i can know the serial number is for what country
4-how i can know is the device working well cuz i planing to buy one through sevral checking wd don't have warranty here
5-is the gps working with out internet
6-what is the accessories coming with the device
7-WHAT IS THE RADIO VERSION

It comes with a trial version of Copilot. However, you can install any navigator software you want

GPS has nothing to do with internet, signal is completely free and no internet is required, just the navigator software.

We can say the radio is the part of the rom that manages all the wireless connections (phone, bluetooth, wifi, gps...). The newer the version, the better it works (supposely)

No prob

HD mini has a rather high rate of defective units. HTC is usually willing to replace the unit immediately under the warranty period. So that's fine.
But without warranty, it's a big risk to buy HD mini. You cannot find out all the problems in one sitting. Not even in one whole day. You need at least a few days, say, one week, with intensive testing, to bring out the major problems if they exist.
