i have been searching ins and out of this website. I am looking to unlock my mda phone which is on t-mobile mda compact. i cannot find any links or site where i cna unlock this phone.
I would be grateful if one person can provide me a link where i can unlock this phone.

After reading through all post ive finally done it.Yes folks ive unlock my xda11i with no problem.After discovering this site only a week ago ,ill definately be donating .Tried my T-mobile sim and it worked. Happy chappy

My 2i seems to have come with VERY old vers of radio and ROM - where's the place to upgrade em? Scoured the O2 site, nowt there, and I didn't have much luck on these forums (plus my internet connection kept dying on me) - you've obviously got more experience already than me on this, any pointers for a newb?
Hi, the Official ROM update is available from http://www.my-xda.com/xda2i.html just click software updates, you will have to enter your imei number, then you will have the updates.
There is also a modified 02 ROM of the the available ROM on 02, this is available from xda-developers website, its in uploads/alpine. This has the imate radio ver 1.03 otherwise it is standard.
looking at you current ROM ver, it is the latest you can currently get from 02 site, but as I said in previous post, there is the modified version on ftp.

I did not understand how you locked your Xda IIi. As I said I am not good at computers so you might have to speak English. Can you please post a reply or send me an email to [email protected] guiding me how to unlock my O2 XDA IIi. Or how dd you learn to unlocking it (in that week as you said) because I haven't found the entry. I will make a donation to the site if it works, rather than to O2. Thank you for any help.

This program unlocks your XDA IIi for use on any Network, not for the extended ROM unlocker.

That's the universal unlocking . there is no free one available at the moment but buzz is very close to a solution, otherwise contact t-mobile and they will unlock it for you.

I was reading about this tool to unlock my Cingular 8125 phone and all the links point to

My sim is an ATT sim and does not work with this Cingular 8125, even though ATT is now Cingular. The versin of ROM is 1.XX Can anyone please post the zip file here, I'd appreciate it.

OK did the search, "Unlock Cingular 8125," got a few days worth of fine reading!
Clicked on the first posters posted link and got the same "Page not found!"
I tried copying the ftp files and that didn't work! No copy no files or something!
Did a Search for "lokiwiz thread," as suggested, got a few more days worth of fine reading!
But where exactly is the link to the exact URL for unlocking a cingular 8125?

What about international unlock?
Probably this question was asked too many times, but I'm reading about this graceful hacking since some times and I didn't found the asnwer yet.
I've read that the hacking on the cingulate 8125, in example for a model buyed from U.S., can unblock it and set it free to make calls with all sim cards of all providers (right?).
This means that if I could apply the "modify" on this model, and would want to use it in example out of U.S., in Spain, with a sim provided by a spanish company, I could do it without problem?

Anybody knows how long is the answer from IMEI-CHECK Team after the verification?
This has probably been asked a million times before but I couldnt find a definitive answer. My Dad's having my old Orange SPV M500 (I just got an M3100 ) and hes on another network (T-Mobile) so it needs unlocking. What do I need to do to get this working? Ive had a quick look on other threads and they mention CID unlocking? Is this what I need?
