[Sept 8th 2008] SilverHawke's TodayLife Skins [UPDATED]

Here are a few new skins for TodayLife that have a SPB MobileShell feel to it. The program is currently under development and is not yet fully functional. These skins are an example of it's flexibility in terms of customization.
TodayLife by dazzlingdaz
All you will need to do is extract the zipped file and copy/paste the folder to your Program Files and run the TodayLife.exe file.
Currently tested on a HTC PPC6800 (Titan). I am unable to show the indicator for voicemail, but I have heard other phones have this ability. If the indicator alignment is off, please let me know and I will try to move it around.
09-08-08 Update:
currently tested using build 275
changed clock to 12 hr format
moved lock into better position to view status icons
added dividers for appointments on the homescreen
changed date format for appointments
changed battery image
changed launcher page
5 action buttons instead of 6
labeled contacts/weather page (still blank for development)
exit button closes the program

The theme isn't bad either.
Forgive me for being a step behind but is the UI itself up and running yet or are these skins for its impending release?

The release for version 262 only has function ability for the home and exit screen. All of the other buttons are placers for upcoming developments. You can download his program and run it but as of right now it is limited on what it can do. He is currently working on a build to launch programs. I have not downloaded his current build just yet. Please follow his thread for upcoming updates.

The UI is still in development but going at great speed.

Yes, this is for QVGA only. I don't have a VGA device to test with.

I guess my question was whether it was necessary to hang on to these themes and awe at their glory or will they all have to be redone once the battle station is fully operational?

If you are not one for testing, I would just monitor the main TodayLife thread until an official working release. These skins are mainly to show off what the program can do and hopefully gain interest in the program. I'm would say that yes, these skins will have to change according to whatever is added/deleted in the future developments. I hope this has helped answer your question.

Real WM7 Theme support QVGA, VGA n Square QVGA devices!!!

Hi friends I found this marvelous theme while surfing net this afternoon
For me this is the most same skin for WM7..
To run this theme I have found out, we just simply need to use phone alarm today plug in

OMFG, this looks as if it came directly from MS !! Just one unified professional and clean look, really really great. Unfortunately PhoneAlarm isn´t for free (but for 15€).
Maybe someone tries to port the skin to BatteryStatus+UltimateLaunch ? Or maybe TodayLife ?

yes the WM7 theme is magnificient..no wonder the guy..or girl have made it for 140 hours in two weeks..really insane sitting for 10 hours in front of desktop to do that haha wonder why he had not release it yet..been waiting though

Haha yes I can agree with you about the looks really looks come from MS itself..For me this software also a bit expensive..but after looking at the WM7 skin..I am really attracted with this software

Its released just go to www.pocketmax.net and look in the forums...I have been using this theme on my phone for about a week now

i have been using his version 1 and version 2 of this theme and it is very great. He keeps perfecting it with each never release and the releases are coming with days/weeks of each other. Also the creator, iWisen, is very open to suggestions to make it specific to your needs. So hit up that pocketman forum if you find bugs or have suggestions.

I have tried v2 and its working fine with my device..what is your type of device? I ever heard WM2003 won't be able to run this soft perfectly

Waaaaaw..this is really the most same WM7 skin I had ever seen so far
This skin makes me want to try phone alarm software..never used before..is it useful fren? but however I want to try to use it since the skin is great

frens are you using the pro version of Phone Alarm? because as I know we have to use the pro to get analog clock working..hope it helps

Give Touchpal a real good chance because it is a very nice fingerfriendly keyboard!

Hello!
Just wanted to tell you that I have made a update on one file (indics.png) it controls the colours used when using wordpredict and t9.
The redtext was hard to read but should be better seen after adding the update

V4 is out and about, are there any skin compatibility issues? I have not tried the final v4 but I did try the beta and quickly rolled back to 3.5 and had to re-install this skin, so I just thought I'd make a quick post before I walk head first into a load of issues. I would prefer 3.5 with this skin than 4 with the default skin.

I ain't got a clue.. I'm still on 3.5 and don't know if the v3.5 skin works on v4.0. Sorry can't help
But if you are willing to try, please post your results
Try make a copy of the resourses folder as back up.. and I think you should be able to revert..

It's not that hard..

For the most part it works with 4.0, there are a couple of buttons missing from the main screen (dictionary, etc.) other than that seems good.

Probably it will be produced specially for future devices manufactured by HTC, which will have all (maybe) WVGA resolution...

Looking at the screenshots, it appears that they have moved on to developing exclusively for WVGA. For example the homescreen has the extra buttons at the bottom to launch favourites, on the TP/Diamond there is not enough room for these links to be visible all the time and you would have to scroll down to see them

Even in devices WVGA so, when there are several appointments displayed in calendar.​

They should make the clock smaller. The homescreen could be so much more efficient, and more customizable like SPB MS3. If you could combine those two you would have awesome software!

NRGZ28 published a BETA 6.5 ROM for BlackStone last week with this new manila. But the day after he deleted all the screenshots and download links. I flashed it and used for an half hour, it was not ready for daily use yet. Main feature of new manila is that you can reach all the settings and customizations by manila.

ROM and the manila was little bit buggy, so I had deleted them.
Plus, I did not like this manila although it has many new good features, it was looking like having low resolution...

Let me start off by saying I'm a huge NFL Football fan and a DIE-HARD Philadelphia Eagles fan!! I decided to try skinning various items on my phone to rep my team. I've started by creating a simple eagles dialpad skin for my stock sprint 6.5 dialer using photoshop. I liked it so much I decided to make one for every NFL team and share with the community that has so greatly shared with me. Here's a preview of what my eagles dialpad looks like..
Edit: These are made to work with stock sprint rom which uses a dialer with portrait dimensions of 480x272. If you use verizon or a custom rom with the larger button layout, let me know and i'll remake it in the slightly larger size for ya..
Below I've attached cab's and screenshots for all 32 NFL teams. I've seperated them by division.
EDIT: All *4* Sets of Dialpad and *1* Set of banner skin cabs, as well as screenshots, can be found on the 1st 3 pages. Leave comments and let me know what you guys think. Enjoy..
