Playing with the Pwr On/Off Button

Is is possible / any way to mod the power button??
like... trigger an event ( apps, wav/mp3 clip...etc) when it is being pressed??
guess it would be fun to play with

AE Button Plus seems to work on all buttons except the X panel button and the power button. But do you really want to modify that button that you use so often to switch the phone into standby?
I'm using the first state of the camera button for the alt+tab function from pocket plus. There you have a tip on a button that isn't used for anything as long as you are not using the camera.

programmatically this can be done, since it is possible to trap power on and power off event..

x panel buton works as well, I have touch it hd installed and I'm using panel button for default first today screen of touch flo

Power red Led on X1
Since you are talking about the power button have any of you noticed that it have a red led?
I've seen mine lit some times, but only when my X1 runs completely out of battery, when I plug it to the charger the led it's on for 5 Min +- and I think the purpose of it is to announce that the device isn't charged enough to start as it wont star if I press the button, only when the standard 4 led's begin to do the usual animation it will start (by this time the power red led it off).
I've look in some manual's and didn't even find a reference to this led..
I think it would be great if we could port this led to do some notifications as it is way more noticeable than the regular led notifications.

I had noticed when I tried to update though sony ericsson's update tool, I was connected it with the computer by usb cable, and when I removed the batt. the LED lits

Red led under power buttom

if your battery is extremely low, a the red led will light up under the power button, is any tweak to remap this led, and have it, ie as status led ?

But XperiaTweak cannot remap the battery led under the power button. It just can use the four leds on the sides of the phone.

It can reduce the lighting by pressing the buttons? Or even turn off their lights?

display wake up

Hi all,
i sometimes notice this problem on my omnia 7..
when the screen is turned off and i press the middle button the screen is not turning on.. i have to press it again or press the power button.. anyone experienced this problem?? any idea what can it caused?? I do not have any apps installed..

I have the same, sometimes the middle windows button will not wake the phone up.
When the middle button refuses to wake up the phone the camera button also refuses to wake up the phone and go straight to the camera app. I need to press the power button and then the camera button.

Do you guys know the term "it is a feature" when something in reality is a flaw - well in this case it really is a feature
If the sensors notice that the phone is in a complete dark surrounding it assumes the phone is in a pocket. Therefore it not wakes your screen up and also the camera button will not work. You can test this if you hold your thumb over the sensors next to the speaker strip.
Should your camerabutton not function in a bright setting, it is of course a different situation.

Note 4 back button has no light

Hello,
I just recently noticed that my back button has no light while the recent button has light!
In other words, when I press the buttons, only the recent apps appears to have light. maybe the hack buttons light has burned?
Irestarted the phone, and no luck
