just wondering if it is working on my phone and do i need to connect my phone to my laptop with activesync? and do i need to put my new simcard while unlocking it or my cingular sim first then new sim after unlocking. but i thinks i must put the new sim so that i can pput the unlock code. but i need your advices. "i will leave it to the experts"

I have my SIMLock Code for my Voda v1640, and I put in a Virgin SIMcard, entered the code, and it said "SIM Unlocked" and then worked great.....
Just wondering, do I need to keep my SIMLock code handy (I have it on an SD card at the minute) if I use a different SIM (ie try and use an O2 SIM) or does entering your SIMLock code completely remove SIMLock and never have to be entered again?

I have downloaded the sim tool and followed all instructions to unlock my US T-Mobile MDA for other SIM card use. I still cannot get the phone unlocked to use a SIM card other than my US T-Mobile SIM. When I insert my telecom Italia mobile (TIM) SIM chip, I get the SIM unlock screen and cannot get passed it, even when I run the unlock program again. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong or if I'm outta luck on trying to unlock this bad boy?
Hi, I just got my O2 Mini S from a seller. (WM5 IPL 2.21.0001)
But, when i put a 3 sim-card in, it told me that the sim-card is invalid. But it didn't give me a place to input the unlock code.
After i run the okiwizMSL0.2b program, the MiniS restarted so quickly, that I couldn't have time to remember the unlock code. Then I insert my 3 simcard. It still tells me that I am using an invalid sim.
Then i put an O2 simcard in, it is working.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Cheers
How to tell if my 8525 is locked (sim i assume) to cingular. the sercive is expired and I would put a different sim in if I can determine if it is locked.
Put a new sim in, if it works its not locked, if it doesn't, it is....

2. Connect your phone to computer, make sure activesync is enabled (green icon)
3. Run start_uspl.exe on your computer and wait until process finishes
