Hello everybody,
I just came to know that Dopod 838 pro, comes with bundled software for recognising business card which is PenPower's WorldCard Mobile business card recognition software. I am having Imate Jasjam, can anybody advise does the software work with Jasjam and can anybody using Dopod 838 pro load the same for all of us..

It said it support CHT 9000, which is a Hermes.
Yeh it works perfectly with Dopod 838pro. And yes, I can load, but then again you need a serial for it to work. Do you still want me to upload it?

yah it will work on the JasJam becaue i have it installed on my JasJam and it works flawlessly. Really impressive software btw!

I have a Qtek 9000, im very satisfied, it runs much faster than my old Qtek 9090, it is very stable, i think i have only had to do a couple of softreset since i got it (2 weeks ago) i havent missed one call yet (my qtek 9090 i missed alotof calls) never used Qteks support thouh

I think the Qtek 9000 comes pretty basic, its sounds like there are alot more software on those imate and tmobil branded devices...

No need to be rude, I was just asking, but you can not dispute that others have the SMS bug in their Jasjar.

apparently no WM6 ROM and i doubt there ever will be one. There isnt a WM5 for it anywayz so how could there be a WM6 ?!?!
I rather buy a proper WM6 HTC device than waiting for someone to get a wm6 rom for it.
Well... there was WM5 for the XDA.
Anyways, I'm happy with my phone, but I would like them big graphics from WM6 .

You are right there was never a WM5 for the Alpine. I had downloaded and installed WM5 on my Hymalya (at that time). My bad.
And of course, I trust that there are people out there working on a compatible WM6 version (right Indra?) and I would be happy to try it if it becomes a reality.

HTC P6300 is similar to Alpine and it has WM5. Anybody has the HTC P6300 software to try out. I've been lookin' but no luck so far...

I just read the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326077. It seems Helmi was able to create a WM6 for the Himalaya (QTEK 2020). It also seems to be quite stable, so let's hope that this guy will help us Alpine users too...

I don't think it is possible. I know that a lot of people have been trying to crack the Hebrew support for WM6 and no one has been able to yet. I assume that the problem is the same with Arabizer as with the Hebrew support.
Yep , and the sad news , HTC is no longer manufacturing for i-mate devices . they are 2 different companies as i understand. The arabizer suite is found on the net but it's a 59.99$ package. unfair !

I know exactly what you mean. The 2 companies (for hebrew) are PDAC and Eyron. The best that I have been able to do so far is to get hebrew fonts installed but all the text is backwards so I can read it but with much difficulty, and of course there is no way to write.

I've upgraded my PDA2k to WM6 and installed Imagenet Arabizer. Finally I can read Arabic SMS but my problem that whenever I try to send or reply to SMS the number of characters lefts shown out 70 even though I'm witting in English not Arabic. Any body experienced same issue ? what might be the solution ?

Look for WCMobile10d That is what was released for the Athena. It works nicely on my TC. But you have to register it after the trial 30 day period.
