Need O2 XDA IIi calibration data, pls - PDA2, XDA IIi, 2020i Software Upgrading

After trying XCpuScale 3.01, my touch lost its alignment. And the calibrate process from Setting/Screen does not work.
So, can you (men have O2 XDA IIi) post your calibration data?? Maybe it helps me.
If you can, using a registry editor, going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH
and copy the value of string "CalibrationData" (for ex, "499,518 157,242 160,789 840,786 839,242")
Thanks in advance.

Ok, here is my calibration data..
513,502 153,263 157,748 865,742 857,260
Hope this helps.

Thank man, just try now. Blah blah

There are two files you need to run, here they are...

Fin
thanks it work great!!!
What about the Orange ROM files??
The Orange ROM contains the Enable_VT_RTPlugin_0727_2_signed.CAB file as well, but not the other one. The other one only seems to disable call waiting anyway, so you shouldn't need it.

Didnt realise that was what it did - have removed it to avoid any confusion!
Cheers,

I've been looking at EXACTLY what each CAB file does and I keep meaning to write a post explaining, but I haven't got round to it yet. Maybe I'll get some time tonight...

Have you seen this thread...

is it ok ?
To remove O2 customization on xda exec, we hard-reset & before custom install we soft reset.
Can I use the same method on MDA pro to avoid T-mobile customisation ??

try this way.softreset your phone and when your phone ask pin code dont punch your sim code the another way leave your phone offline mode.and try to use cab file.it suppose to install without problem.cheers
I installed the Touch-IT_Blackstone_dialer.zip and it's great! But there is one problem. I have a Swedish Xperia and it bothers me that while everything else is in Swedish, the text "Slide to answer/ignore" is in English. I've searched the forum and found out that I have to change that text in Windows\PHCANHTC.dll. I tried to do that using a hex editor, also tried to sign the DLL using siggner.exe. But when I copy the file to the Windows folder and do a soft reset, the dialer is back to the Windows standard dialer (which is ugly and doesn't have the video call feature).
Does anyone know why it doesn't work? What am I doing wrong? Or does anyone have a working Swedish version of the file? (I know there is one, I saw a screenshot where the text was "Skjut för att svara/ignorera")
Please help me, this is driving me crazy!

Try this one:

I have found the perfect keyboard with user dictionary that works. It's an LG one but more spaced than the stock keypad one fishears offered. And the fact this one will operate a user dictionary is a massive plus.
www.sharemobile.ro/file.php?id=597437
What I did was back up the ROM keyboard first using Titanium. I then installed the keyboard fishears put on the previous page. (This may or may not be a vital step) Then remove the keyboard by uninstalling Through Titanium. Reboot. Put above AIME.APK file in the system > apps folder using Root Explorer and install from there with the R/W option at the top showing R/O. Set back to R/W when finished then test to see if it works. If not, try a reboot.[/CODE]

I found a solution for this but the phone needs to be rooted and you have to create a few files manually.
Let me know if you are willing to do so.

Sorry for taking so long to answer the post.
The solution to the diccionary problem is this:
- Using root explorer go to /data and create a folder named "xt9" (the route should be like this: /data/xt9/ )
- Then inside "xt9" folder you'll need to create 2 files: "asdb.bin" and "udb.bin" and give full permissions to both of them (rwxrwxrwx).
- Reboot and now you should have fully working dictionary o your LG IME.
If you like my post let me know and if you want "hit" the thanks button.

i did some searching for you and found this. such code language is greek to me as im not too good with coding jargon. hope it helps you:
Q- I want to be able to change the background color to white in my android app in the simplest way possible
A- You need to use the android:background property , eg
android:background="@color/white"
Also you need to you need to add a value for white in the strings.xml
<color name="white">#FFFFFF</color>
A2- You can also use
android:background="#ffffff"
in your xml layout, or you can change the theme in your AndroidManifest.xml by adding
android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Light"
to your activity tag.
If you want to change the background dynamically, use
YourView.setBackgroundColor(Color.argb(255, 255, 255, 255))
hope this helps

oh..there isn't any good news now at this moment.
on the one hand, I can't decompile the "conversation.apk" individually,
(the error just like : "Could not decode attr value, using undecoded value instead")
on the other hand, the "framework-res.apk"&"blur-res.apk" can be decompiled correctly, but I edit some xml about colors, and my device can't boot with the replacement.
I have to recovery it now..and waiting for help!!

EDIT: after looking around a bit, most people on other forums recommend for you just to use handcent. apparently its the simplest fix without you having to tweak around much a lot. they just recommend for you to disable the stock message notification so that you wont get 2 notifications on your notification bar. perhaps you'd wanna give it another go? besides, apparently handcent supports upto 5mb of storage as opposed to the standard 2mb on the stock messaging app

I got why I can't decompile Conversations.apk..
This man said in his thread:
"
I am trying to decompile Conversations.APK from /system/app with APKTool
I am using framework-res.apk, blur-res.apk and moto-res.apk as the framework.
It was successfuly decompiled.

I knew this before, but I don't know how to use them as the framework..
maybe I gonna ask him for details...to decompile my conversations

I decompilied conversation.apk successfully,
the code in "\res\values\drawables.xml" is:
Code:

I changed #ffffffff to #00000000 and saved it .
But it doesn't work...nothing happened with my TextMessaging!
I think I should have a try on framework-res.apk or blur-res.apk.

I like the style of the translator you are using , but you need to complete your sentences so we can help you.
Meanwhile, let's assume you are using the stock ROM. You need to be rooted to be able to access AND modify that location. (or use adb? do file explorers even work without root?)
