Lost MMS link on htc tytn - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Sorry for my english.
I installed the rom jasjam on a htc tytn and i lost the link with the mms in messages.
I have only sms and outlook account.
can you help me for this problem??
Thanks.

I would try to hard reset my device or unhide the Extended ROM and executing the MMS install file from there.
Just a thought...
Rayan

Tnx,
I tryed to execute "MP_MMS3.2_Generic_Hermes_060529.cab" from the extender rom then soft reset the device, but the MMS account not exist again.
If i hard reset the device, the installation stop at the end. and i must to soft reset the device without the MMS account.
I don't know what to do to unhide the Account.

I also flashed my tytn to unlock it and have lost both MMS capabilities and some of the symbol keys on my keyboard have changed (ex: the @ symbol is now the ? symbol). Any way to revert these settings?

K-JAM MMS Configuration

I have posted this over at MoDaCo but i thought i would give it a go here as well.
I stupidly installed MS Global Contact Access (GCA) for PPC on my K-JAM to see if it would work (which it did) but it has caused other problems so i had to uninstall it. This is probably due to MS still not releasing a WM5 compatible version of GCA.
Now, when i open the messaging app and select "MMS Configuration" from the menu instead of the MMS Configuration screen it opens a New Meeting request.
Would anyone know how i can get my MMS config back without a hard reset? Is the setup for MMS in one of the cabs in the extended ROM or is it built into the main System ROM
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris
You can download a cab file from club imate for mms, sms settings.
If you know how to access your Ext ROM, you can have a look there and 'guess' the CAB that is resposible for the MMS settings. It should fix the problem.

MMS inbox ?

hi guys, can any of you help me and let me know how to get MMS INBOX back? I have upgraded to the newest Chinese Dopod ROM, I have installed the O2 MMS cab that I usually use on the English ROMs to show the MMS inbox back, but it installs but it still does not show up on the Chinese ROM.
Is there any reg hack I can do to make the MMS inbox appear again?
Or is there any other cab files out there I can try to make it show up?
Restoring the mail database after a ROM upgrade causes the error you described. When I restored my SMS/email with SPB Bakcup after I upgearded to AKU2 I found that my MMS inbox was missing.
I tried to find a way of fixing it, but honestly? nothing works. So I made a full backup, backed my sms with Jeyo. Restored everything BUT the SMS from spb backup, and used Jeyo to restore them.
I haven't restored my mail database with the backup as I do not keep messgaes anyway, so that is not my problem. As I said the cab file works perfect with the English ROM, just this Chinese ROM I cannot get the MMS inbox back.
PLEASE ANYONE?
I am willing to do it manually via registry if someone lets me know how
Have you tried launching the camera application, taking a picture and use option Send | Send by MMS?
This "unhid" my mms folder (hidden by latest O2 rom on my Exec) - no idea how or why
nope doesn't do it for me but thanks for trying anyway
try this
try this file
tried that, didn't change things but thanks for trying to help anyway. I think the main problem is the Chinese ROM system files are located in different folders to that of the English ROM therefore these cab files don't work. I think the only way is to do it manually, but I do not know the registry settings to do this unfortunately

No MMS folder

Hi folks,
I have recently removed all the o2 rubbish by doing a hard reset and then resetting before the rubbish is installed. I have sorted my GPS and MMS settings but I think the problem is that I do not have an MMS folder...
EG - if I go to an image and ask it to be sent by MMS then nothing happens - I am told I should have a similar setup to SMS - ie Inbox, Outbox, Sent etc - but these do not appear... Also, I have been sent vations MMS messages and they have never arrived.
Can anyone assist or do I really have to load the o2 crap?
Here you go: copy this to your My Documents folder on your Wizard, then tap it to install the fix. Worked perfectly for me.
Thanks
Worked wonders - cheers for that mate!
didnt work for me
suggestion
Use a registry editor (I like RegEditCE) to change the following keys:
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/Svc/MMS/UserCannotCreate = 0
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/Svc/MMS/UserCanCreate = 1
After this you should be able to go into Outlook and add an MMS account like any other email account. You will need to know the proper settings, though.
Worked for me.
I have the exact same problem as the original user. I am using the latest Qtek 9100 rom.
CAB doesn't work.
I tried the registry change you mentioned but it only allows me to add email addresses and not MMS folder.

Hi Peeps!
I created this post a while ago to solve my MMS problem, it really does work!
Check it out and let me know how you all get on:

Hi all,
I believe that the issue was something to do with either Sprite Backup (restore across ROM upgrade) or not allowing the extended ROM to fully install when I upgraded ROMS.
Anyways, I just did a hard reset, allowed the device to complete everything on its own and the MMS folder appeared and worked.
Thanks for all the help.
same here. i had to hard reset after a back operation just ***** my mda.
don't know why or how...it just did.

Qtek S200 - I have lost my MMS Composer

Hello,
My MMS composer has disappeared, i.e. don't find it as an account under "Messaging" and it is not present in the "Programmes" section.
Where is it and what do I have to do to get it up and running again?
Thanks for your help!
Hard reset fixed the problem!
1. Don't forget to save your data!
2. Don't forget to delete software that takes control over the S200, i.e. check your "Autorun" and/or "Autostart" (DE) directories.

MMS Issue

When I first got my XDA IIi, it worked fine with MMS and GPRS. I had to do a hard-reset because of a charging problem (as instructed by O2 staff) and now, MMS doesnt appear in my messaging accounts and MMS Composer has disappeared from the programs menu. I managed to get my GPRS working again, but MMS doesnt like me still. Cheers,
J Smart
it should be installed from the extented rom at startup
i would unhide and unlock the extented rom and run the cab file myself to get it back
