This has probably been asked a million times before but I couldnt find a definitive answer. My Dad's having my old Orange SPV M500 (I just got an M3100 ) and hes on another network (T-Mobile) so it needs unlocking. What do I need to do to get this working? Ive had a quick look on other threads and they mention CID unlocking? Is this what I need?

Can anyone please let me know how to CID unlock the magician? There seems to be not much on the net on this topic. I cannot flash a new ROM because it shows me Invalid Country Code!

Search the stickies. You can burn any Magician ROM on your phone if you follow the right steps.
unfortunately only 3 sticky threads and none point me to CID unlocking. Can you post me some links? appreciate your help very much!

Hi all, i have just dug up my old SPV M700 (trinity..)
I have currently got a T-Mobile pay as you go sim and id like to use it with this phone.
Is there anyway of unlocking it myself? or am i going to have to pay on other sites?

I found a guide on the forum, but can't remember where ...
the file was: HTC_Trinity_SIM_CID_Unlock_v1.zip
I have not yet had cause to try it out, but it is very detailed.
if you can't find it on a search, PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you.
filesize is only 149 mb.
