wifi tethering??

i can tether my wizard to my laptop for edge service [using pdanet], but i am trying to use the wizard as a wifi adapter with no success.
any input would be appreciated.
win xp pro

EDIT: See Below AKU 3.2 this is possible.
AKU 1.x & 2.x it is not, you need to use it as a modem, either USB, Bluetooth or IR.

I've successfully done it using USB...

QIP under WM6

I used QIP Mobile on my Phone under wm5 but now I flashed the wm6 ROM from my Provider. Unfortunately, QIP now can't connect any more. Not over GPRS, neither by WLAN.
Somebody got the same Problem or a solution?

you should change a new radio ,then try!

I was upgrading from WM5 to WM6 hoping, that QIP will be more stable, but didn't helped. It's too sensitive for connection. Just trying Agile Messenger, it's much better, but paid

WPA-PSK/AES possible on Wizard?

I just got a new Draytek 2800VG router and have set it to WPA-PSK/AES (does not have WPA-PSK/TPIK) encryption.
Is there any way I can get this encryption to work on the Wizard? I am currently using dferreira's WM5SE ROM on TMO's 2.26 ROM, IPL 2.26, SPL, 2.26.

Have you tested to login with the Wizard? I think it will ask you for user/pass and then you will be logged in Worked for me. But it will not work with WPA-Enterprise.

Hi. If I drop the security on the router then I can connect no problem. I just wondered if there was a hack to allow me to connect using the WPA-psk/AES security.

WPA2 & AES was implemented in AKU 3.x I think. Faria released an AKU 3.3 ROM ages before the official one appeared and this had WPA2 & AES. I think you can also just copy a newer tnetwlan.dll over the existing one and you should have support for this. Search for tnetwlan.dll on here.

SPV m650 GPS / GPRS problem

Hi, I have Orange France SPV m650, after upgrade to any rom except the Orange original rom, GPS not connecting, I installed the Kulbut0r_GPS_Quick_and_Dirty_Fix_for_SPV_M650_WM6.cab, its works, but only when the gprs connection is open. Please help to fix gps connection and disable automatically gprs starting. Will be looking forward for the updates.

I use the AJE_FR 2.0 rom with a SPV650 from orange, a tool in this rom configure windows for a spv650, you must to select "spv650-agps", the GPS driver isn't the same for a spv650 than for a P3300.
after windows ugrade, the radio rom is 3.07.90 version, it's better if you downgrade to a 2.98.90, there are some GPRS troubles with 3.07.90.

Just installed MyHero and mobile network internet access doesn't work

is this normal or a bug?
i'm using the latest version of myHero and while I can turn on my mobile network access i get no HSPA connection
