just update my imate jasjam with htc new rom 1.35
but my radio id 1.18
do i need to make it biger version or i can leave it like this
and if i need where can i find biger radio version ilooked for and didnt found

Radio 1.18 comes with the 1.35 ROM
There is a Radio 1.20 on the ftp but to install this your will have to downgrade your bootloader and flash just the radio part of your ROM.
This can be a tricky process (since the tools needed are copyrighted and will not be posted on here) and many people have bricked their TyTNs so I would recommend you stick with 1.18 unless your having problems or do some research first.

Now After The New Rom I Put I Have 1.09 Bootloader
But When I Crack It Iv Got Super Cid
So Why Cant I Upgrate The Radio
So You Mean Now I Cant Upgrate Any Rom.....
I Understand That With Super Cid You Can Do Every Thing

for xda2's you can only upgrade it when you upgrade the normal rom
and the rom have a newer version of the radiostack

well
i did update from radio 1.10 to 1. 17 to 1.18 and back aggain to 1.17
just put the radio_nb (check for country and operator errors)
in the himalayupgrade dir and it did only a radio update
after hard reset and thats it
it is possible that some bootloader dont let to do that but mine does its 1.01

I am trying to get a rom installed that other posters who are having the same problem I am (applications and ring tones not showing up) seem to suggest that the CID is not unlocked. I downgraded my ROM and noticed on start up that the IPL is not at ver 1.01 but the SPL is at 2.26. What do these mean? How are they upgraded? is this relevant to the issue I am having? thanks

I am now at IPL 2.24, and SPL 2.26 - have I read correctly that i can't go back on the SPL to something previous? someone? Bueller?
Your IPL/SPL has ALWAYS to be the same version. Otherwise you can get problems with your device, it could get highly instable.
You can try to flash my Molski.Biz Rom, then you're IPL and SPL should both be 2.26

A friend of mine has a Wizzard from Orange NL. His IPL/SPL are 1.3 right now and he want to update his ROM but he said he can't because he needs those to be 2.xxxx. I've only been messing around with my HTC BlueAngel and i've never come across IPL/SPL.
Can somebody explain to me what it is and how you upgrade it, or even if you want to upgrade it. Is this something you have to do before you flash the ROM or do you just need a certain ROM to be able to upgrade from a 1.3 IPL/SPL?!

hi every one.... i'm using a mda vario from uk.... recently i had problem with my mda vario where the phone signal were very weak and unstable..... my phone signal always shows "searching......" and sometimes drop call when i make a call or answering call......
and i had try to flash the radio rom from 2.19.11 to 2.61.11, 2.69.11....... but still the same problem i face.....
is it possible the problem cause by the cid??
or any suggestion for me how to solve this problem??

use wizard service tool WST ..search forums for it..check if its CID locked..if it is locked unlock it using WST.
then flash it with T-mobile ROM ruu_2.26 IPL/SPL/GSM radio
then down grade GSM radio to 2.19 UK
now u get IPL/SPL 2.26 and Radio 2.19UK
now install faria ROM
once u r done u will have a working system with no hangups or signal issues.

You cannot CID unlock your phone through WST tools. As it's a G4 DOC chip device with IPL/SPL 2.21.0001.Infact it cannot be CID unlocked at all.I'll advise you to never try to unlock your phone.But from looks of your post it's already flashed with a custom build Rom 'Faria v5.0 version',it's a wm5 version Rom.Perhaps it's already got 'HardSPL' or flashed through 'SoftSPL' method,If it's already 'HardSPL' then just download any latest wm6 custom build Rom (G4 Safe Rom) and flash,but first be sure it's got HardSPL.
However if you are interested to upgrade your phone to the latest wm6 custom build Roms,there's a procedure called "SoftSPL" & "HardSPL" to upgrade a G4 device.Read the stickies on G4 subforum to understand and do the procedure correctly.

Guys, yesterday i try to flash the ipl/spl 2.26 to my g4 mda vario..... What had i do are:
1) i extract the ipl and spl from t-mobile 2.26 rom and pack using the nknbf tool.
2) with using the softspl tool i flash the ipl/spl 2.26 to my device and it was done....
3) after the device soft reset, it start to tri color screen and show ipl 2.26 and spl 2.21 olipro.
4) before i trying to flash the os and radio rom to my device, accidently i had remove the battery......... the nightmare start, my device not function anymore.........

When you extracted the IPL/SPL from the t-mobile ROM, and repacked them to flash to your phone, did you use the files labeled 90000000-IPL_1 and 91000000-SPL_1 or did you use the ones labeled 90000000-IPL_2 and 91000000-SPL_2? If you used the _1 versions you flashed the IPL/SPL for a G3 and may very well not be recoverable. The only thing I can suggest you try is to reflashing the entire ROM so that it attempts to flash the right version of the IPL/SPL or since you did it once already, extract and repack the _2 versions and flash them. If that doesn't work, you may have a nice shiny brick on your hands.

Sry to say but I very categorically tried to explain to you that you got a G4 device.you gotta be very careful with it while flashing.
Anyway ! try to get the phone into Bootloader mode (multicolor screen) by pushing and holding down the 'Camera' button and push the 'Power On' button,while keep holding down the camera button till the screen wakes up and goes into bootloader mode.if it gets into a bootloader mode,than do the procedure xeno1 has already explained in his above post.Hope it recovers.....

I've been searching about the radio version on my Exec. But, still no result which explain about that version detail. The only version that I found, only about 1.09 - 1.18.
So, how about my 0.00.00 version? Can I upgrade it to the latest version (1.18) with usual step?
And, what if I still use this version, and upgrade to WM6 ROM? Is it works?
FYI, until now, this 0.00.00 radio ROM working just fine on my official Exec ROM.
0.00.00 is a SIM/CID unlock radio, you should not use it!
Upgrade to 1.18 first, then flash to WM6.

I am looking forward to install Android Froyo 2.2 build on my HD2.
But i have concerns about which HSPL,ROM and RADIO to use as per the current configuration of my phone.
I am using stock 1.66 WWE ROM
Radio ver is 2.06.51.07
Manila ver is 2.5
I have heard issues in flashing ROMS on radio with .51.
I don't want to brick my phone with a wrong ROM version!
Please advise the HSPL,ROM and RADIO that works for Android Froyo 2.2 customization.

Looking at your spec on your HD2 all is ok except you will need 2.12**** radio the offset of this is of course a hard HSPL. Look at the forum for flashing roms and hspl as you will have to first change your stock hspl and then flash the new radio. I run the standard WWE build 1.66.
Can you let me know the compatable ROMS with Radio 2.12 and if it should be HSPL2 or HSPL3?
