I recently downloaded GPRS Monitor by mistake (dont ask how... i just did).. and i cant get rid of it and it is annoying me badly.
Steps i have taken..
Removal via add/remove programme..done
tried to remove files.. wont do it as it comes back with warning message stating there is a sharing violation.
The icon sits on the top of the screen and i cant get rid..
Please help!!!

I dont know how, but i seem to have a message in my deleted folder - that will not delete.
It seems to be stuck. If i go to delete, it says "do you wish to" i say yes... it does nothing. I also tried emptying all folders..... it was the only message to remain.
Any ideas?
have you tried turning ont he option (delete immeditly) once you delete it, so it doesnt even more stuff to the trash, or have you tried softresetting...
Cant seee how the delete immediately will help... as i cant put it anyone to delete (cant move it).
I cant remeber how to soft reset.... please remind me (will i lose data)

Every time I turn my T-Mobile MDA on I get Notification Errors for executables I have deleted or moved (SmartsKey). I've searched through the windows directory but can not find a reference to the two files. Does anyone know how to stop the MDA from trying to run these deleted/moved files? I've done a search and the only thread I found the person ended up hard reseting to stop it.
Use check notificationa and find the smartkey notification and delete it. This has happened because you did not follow the instructions with smartkey on how to remove it. You could reinstall it and remove it as per instructions - i think its in the pdf that came with the installation.

I just got 2 notification error on my 8125 after a softreset. One was on the omapclock.lnk and one on pocketmusic. Also I have about 200 events listed when I run the check notifications. Are there usually so many or should I delete them? Please inform me on this.

hi everyone
so i search everywhere trying to find an answer to my problem and so far i have found nothing.. my problem is that i accidentally saved some of my txt messages to the sim card but now every time i delete them they keep coming back .. they delete but if i reset the phone they show up again .. is there any way i can permanently delete these txt .. i try going to sim manager but theres no option for txt .. only contacts .. plz help
try selecting 'save sms to phone' then deleting, restart and see if you still have the same issue... i know exactly what you're talking about, i had that problem before and it got really annoying but i ended up fixing it by popping my sim card into my old G1 and deleting that way, if the method i suggested doesn't work let me know and I will try to figure out another way.

thanks actually i tried that there's an option that says move to phone .. i did but it doesnt help everytime i restart it shows up again i dont have a G1 but i to have a tilt.. do u think i could delete them thru the tilt?

the internet has been kind enough to direct me to delete system/app/vzwphoneservice.apk
but it's not there, and i connot find it anywhere.

Better to use an app (TitaniumBackup, etc) to freeze "com.motorola.setupwizard.phoneservice".
If you remove it, you'll need to put it back or RSD back to stock to take an OTA update.
