"Vibrate" automatically OFF after I turn off my bluetooth earphone...Please Help!
I set my 838Pro to Vibrate and no ringtone, then I turn ON my bluetooth wireless earphone (with headset function) for listening music, after that I turn OFF the bluetooth wireless earphone, but the 838Pro automatically change the vibrate to OFF then...
So how can I make the "vibrate" always ON?? or how can I prevent the 838Pro to automatically turn "vibrate" OFF after I turned OFF the bluetooth earphone??
Thanks!!
Raymond

Automatically enable bt headset mode

Hello,
i have a qtek 2020 1.75.00 WWE
My question is as follows:
Is it possible to have the headset mode set to "enabled" as soon as Bluetooth is switched on? At this moment, i have to go to the today screen to manually touch the headset icon to enable it. So even when bluetooth is active, i still can't use my headset immediately. When the phone rings i still have to go through the above mentiond manouvre, so by the time i have done that, the phone already stopped ringing.
So what i actually want is that the headset mode is either always enabled or that it gets enabled as soon as bt is active.
I hope you can help me.
Regards,
Ilana
Hi Ilana,
On my i-mate (XDA II) I run Pocket Bluetooth Tools (or BTHTools) which you'll find on XDA Developers if you search for it, and aside from adding additional profiles (such as the missing SPP - Serial Port Profile, which is needed to connect to Bluetooth GPS units), it also replaces the default Headset Profile app with an automatic one.
When the phone is activated by an incoming or outgoing call, the Bluetooth radio turns on automatically & I just tap the BT headset's answer button to transfer the call to the headset. When the call finishes the BT radio automatically turns off again after 60 seconds (thus saving battery power).
Give it a try - you can uninstall it to return to the default Microsoft BT stack if it doesn't ring your bell.
Lucas.
Thank you for your help. I will definitely give it a try!

DKToday plugin

Will this only turn on/off Bluetooth with an incoming call?
I want it to turn on/off Bluetooth for any situation when I stop/start something that needs it.
For example if BT is off, and I start ActiveSync on the XDA, BT starts automatically. But when I close AS, BT stays on.
I was hoping something like DKToday would help with this, but it only seems to work for calls.
tap the bluetooth icon and it turns bluetooth of, at least it does for me.

bluetooth discoverable

I have the HTweakC installed on my 8525 (2.06 rom). I can not get the discoverable to stay on. It keeps turning itself off. The bluetooth indicator show "On" but not discoverable. I have all 3 box checked under the bluetooth tab.

Bluetoth Toggle with user Settings?

Hi,
it's easy to find a bluetooth toggle button out there to put it on the HD2 homescreen - neverthelees it only turns bluetooth on (or off). Normally I use only one bluetooth connection - my stereo headset. Is there anything I can do that the toggle button not only turns on the bluetooth but uses my headset as standard connection, so automatically connects to it with some settings?
Thanks,
DW!
Nobody?
If you are having an issue with the headset only connecting as handsfree when you turn bluetooth on there is an option in the settings to have stereo headsets connect to both handsfree and headset at the same time ...
It would be in the bluetooth settings under that devices main properties ...
I use one and it connects to both when toggling bluetooth on or off ...
But even without that all you have to do normally is hit a "media" button on the headset , something other than talk/play or volume, and it should connect ...
Hope that confusing mess helps ....
