MDA Vario 2 sim lock screen says wait till time out

HI,
Ive unlocked my MDA Vario 2 by using software everything gone well but when i put my other sim it ask for sim lock code but cant let me enter as it says you have tried 6 times ,please wait until time out.can you please tell me what does it means? and please help me.

is there anyone who can help me inthis regard.thnx

From memory if you keep putting in the wrong code it will start to give you longer and longer timeouts before you can try again. And I think after 10 goes it locks completely.
Anyone else confirm this?

it says that i tried 6 times so do u now how long i have to weight.thank you and do i need to remain my phone on or switch it off.

You did something wrong, repeat the whole process again and read the unlocking thread.

I have the SPV M3100 with 1.06 so can't use the unlocker but didn't realise that because I firstly paid for the download from another site and the full instructions were not given with it. I have paid for the unlock code from Orange but I cannot enter it yet as it says now I have tried 7 times and have to wait. Has anyone any idea of how long I have to wait?

i restart my pphone but it stayed in the "windowns" screen instead of the home screen no matter how many times i restarted it, so what should i do now !!!!!!

I think it would be helpful if you provided addition information about your phone like what ROM you're using, etc.

um.... i cant even go on to the home screen so cant really tell.....

Which windows screen? Titanium? Or the boot screen?
What were you doing when it happened? What happens when you pull the battery out for 10 minutes and put it back in?
We really need more details to help you.

Mango update has been running for almost two hours so far. Is this normal?

I am new to WP7 scene and not sure if my phone is borked or is it normal. I have launched Mango update over 1.5 hours ago and the progress bar is only at about 50%. Is this normal for Windows phone or should I be concerned?

Hang with it, what ever you do don't end the update until it says u can.

hi every one there... i have same problem, i don't have any memory card in it and the phone also don't have anything to back up and i did everything to make it work to update to mango.. but it seems like Zune found update for it but when ever i try to update it, it will restart it and then stuck at Samsung logo...!!??? i try almost everything, read almost all post for focus and try every single trick but it did not work out anything... after update found in Zune phone will restart at step 6 out of 9 step and then stuck at Samsung logo more then 3 hours and it will not start. i have to take out phone battery to restart it manually but it will not update to 7004....... any solution guys?
i have called Samsung for this 1st they told me it's Microsoft issue but then after little argue they said they will try to repair my phone.... but 1st they have to look for my phone warranty and told me give 48 hours to get IMEI from ATT...
i am still waiting for email... will update once get reply from Samsung...
BUT.. IF ANY ONE ELSE THIS ISSUE??? any fix for this problem? IF YES THEN HOW TO GET IT WORK...your help will kindly appreciate.

First thing first: Have you tried plugging the phone with Zune started? If that doesn't do anything, then whatever you had on the phone, it's lost. I hope you had all the important bits synced.
Now, for the fix, my post here should help.

i try this method multiple times... its give me some error..like--me device is not retail device...!! it did not update..!! and phone got restart normal...

Hello I have an HTC HD2 WP7 Mango/Android via Magldr. Whenever I boot up Windows it tends to freeze up at the main screen about 80% of the time. It forces me to pull the battery and try again. Sometimes it takes me at least 30 mins to finally start windows because of battery pulls and restarts.
When it starts up and works it'll be fine and never lock up.
Any help? Anyone experience this problem?

i also have this problem and ive tried everything even reinstalling the damn thing twice just guess we gotta wait till its fixed

I tried reflashing the thing about 3 times and it just still does the freezing thing.
Other than that everything works fine.
Alright well thanks at least im not the only one.

yea it sucks because i cant go in to windows to unlock the sd card so i can boot android so i cant use my phone at all until it starts to act right.

@hd2_head all you need is an hard reset all data will be lost but it will be unfrozen so you can unlock SD card,

i did the hard reset now what do i install to get the sd card unlocked?

ive done that but with this new mango it locks up frequently during boot. I dont want to have to hard reset everytime i turn my phone on.
Id rather just keep this new updated windows and deal with the bull.

you need to use the cab sender to send "DEV_STORAGELOCK" to your phone
after reboot it will appear on the app list. Click it and click yes to unlock sd card, Now it should appear on a computer.
It took 27 mins to start windows today after at least 25 battery pulls!!!! WTF this cant be good for the phone.

bent battery pins can cause these problems, and these problems can cause bent battery pins!

i decided to go to NAND for a while or atleast there a better mango update or tweak that help with the freezing.

I'm also having this same problem, except that it only takes me like 10min to get it to work as opposed to your 20min. Hopefully we find an answer soon because I really like Windows Phone. I become afraid to restart my phone because it may take ages to finally work again.

The source to your problem
Try another SDcard, preferably class 2.
I tested 3 sd cards (all class 4), and all gave the EXACT same problem as you have.
Switched to a class 2, 4GB and no problems whatsoever.

I think you're absolutely right. It looks like 3 main pins and the first one was bent. I bent it back and it didn't even power on. After messing with it for a while, this time it took about 2 hours after I bent the pin, it finally booted back up.
So what can I do? Try to straighten them out and hope for the best?

Did u guy unlock ur hd2 so that u all can slideload the apps into phone? coz i think the unlock or hacking thing causes the screen freezes~

i think what you should do is check your rom. i had the same problem so i just reinstalled everything. now my phone works perfectly.. just make sure you didnt skip a part.

When mine does this it seems like an overheating issue. If I take the battery out and let it sit for a minute before putting the battery in and trying again it seems to work just fine.

Even after a new software was instaled its same.service dont know how to solve

Just take it to the Huawei service because that's not normal at all on official software.

first time they change mainboard. 2nd time just chequed
i was 2 time. 1 resoft. 2nd change mainboard. 3rd just checked.

If you take a 3rd time they should change the whole phone so take your chance and see what you got. Also check your installed apps there is something in there.
