Holy crap, it's a Christmas miracle! Look what Santa Roc A Fella dropped in our laps this morning: shots of the CDMA HTC TyTn! About freaking time. Here we have UTStarcom XV6800 on Verizon, and this thing is seriously no slouch. It improves on the Hermes with more memory, Bluetooth 2, and, of course, features EV-DO with Rev A support. Here's the dirt:
WM5 AKU 3
256MB flash / 96MB RAM
Thumb wheel
802.11b/g
Bluetooth 2.0
BBAC -- BroadbandAccess Connect, i.e. tetherable EV-DO
microSD slot
We hear Roc's got more coming soon, watch out for it.

Interesting that it has double the flash ram. It seems that AKU3 will be a possibility for the GSM TyTN at some point. I'm not interested in switching to Verizon and the new features aren't enough to make me unhappy with my 8525, but it will be interesting to see which hacks translate to this version.

this is a Herald, not a Hermes

Thanks for clarifying. Still nice to see the upgraded memory and AKU3!

Wireless powerpoint presentation from i-mate JAM through BT

Tremendous thanks to those who enable me to upgrade the ROM to version 1.11, which allows me to select the bluetooth com port.
I am now able to deliver powerpoint presentations (1024 x 768 resolutions) remotely from my i-mate JAM through a bluetooth device iGo Pitch Duo produced by Mobility Electronics.
All I need to do is:
1. Plug the vga cord of the LCD projector into Pitch Duo (with a bluetooth USB adaptor)
2. Power on the Pitch Duo
3. Run iPresent on my pocket PC, at a distance of up to 10 m from the projector.
I had been frustrated because of buying this product then to realise that it does not work on my i-mate JAM of older ROM versions.
Wow, that sounds great. But 329€... hmm.

They claimed it would be available for 279$, meaning 215€... that sounds fair to me. But well, this way they won't get me as customer.
My old fave was Presenter to Go

sadly their SD version seems to be palm only.

which is better?

Hey guys,
Should i get a Wing or 8525?
Thanks
Of course i'm going to say wing.
spec wise, i'd go for the 8525
ic, I use a 8125 right now,
is the wing gonna run as slow as it?
does the wing also have limited storage like it?
but I do like how the wing is thin.
but i hate how it's blue...
thanks
Spec wise, it's very similar.
The wing, with a good ROM, will run better and give you more space. But then again... the 8125 will do the same with a good ROM. The Wing is thinner.
As far as speed: The WING with a good ROM can run pretty speedy. As far as storage: With my Just2Clean ROM, you'll have around 60+mb's free. But you need to have a microSD to flash it with my ROM.
And if you dont like the blue colour of the Wing, Buy a Herald.
Just a little suggestion
Yea, I'm trying to find one, But I can't seem to find one.
Buy an actual Atlas... that casing rocks!

But where!!!! LOL
Thanks in advance!

This is for the Diamond, as it already has the ability radio normal ...
Thank you, goodbye
I translate it on google.
like a police scanner this would be nice
Well, yes because in fact I like to hear the control tower at the airport or I will do photography, I am spotter ...
And instead of buying a receiver, I was wondering if there was a software on WM may have the same function
Thank see you!
Hi!
That is hardly possible. I don't know for 100%. But with my experiense of scanners, there is probably a question of hardware. Or more precise, question of crystals with different frequenses..
People tend to believe Touch Diamond can solv ALL tasks.
Despite that i think my TD is fantastic.
I would love to have a radio frequency scanner
Hi,
I am an airplane photographer too, and I would love to have on my Diamond something to listen to control tower of the airport.
I am sure it's not that hard...
Thanks in advance

Engineering/Network Monitoring 2G&3G

Hey,
Can any one help me to find a "Engineering/Network Monitoring tool for 2G&3G" for my touch HD....
searched through the forum, didnt get any..
Thanks in Advace.
My ROM:1.14.405.0 (21010) WWE
Radio: 1.09.25.14
you will find the field test in the attachments
run it from your device
It works....!!!
Thank you very much bro....!!!
Being a little greedy, is there any other softwares where we can find cell id and other stuffs
Thank you again.... and thanks to creator... too....
Thank you for sharing M.Noury.
great prg
Thanks for sharing this!
Yup, it works.
Although as had been said already, there is a few more details I would love to see from my phone, if it is possible to implement.
What I'm most interested in is these values:
Current Cell ID with their channels
Available CID's in the area, with their channels
Ordered Timing Advance (what TA the BTS orders the cellphone to use)
Actual Timing Advance (what the cellphone is currently using)
Not sure if this is data that is possible to see from a standard HTC Touch HD, or if you need any special hardware to do so.
The only phone I've had my hands on that does all that I want and more is the SAGEM OT 200 engineering mobilephone, but they cost like 5000 Euros, so that is a non-starter.

The forum that you want to go to for this device is the one for the Nike. There are a few chefs cooking roms for it (deepjharenka being one of them). Don't install roms for the Vogue on the Nike or you will brick the device.
As far as what I think of it, I personally never had it but I do like it. It would be far better if someone would be able to unlock the wifi that it has built in it, but up to date, I don't know if that has happened. Good processor, decent amount of ram and on board storage.
Like I said, head over to the Nike forums and you will get more info in there.
thank you!
Your are more than welcome
