Is there a USB to Serial Adapter that works on the TyTN? I want to be able to use a terminal application (like PockeTTY) to connect to Cisco routers, etc. I tried pluggin in an IOGear adapter that I use on my laptop but it doesn't do anything.
Thanks,
Jonathan
Such adapters require a USB host, but Hermes has only USB slave port. It can be an SDIO card (RS232 or USB Host), but I don't know one for MicroSD slot.
you can get a bluetooth to serial adaptor. Ive been contemplating buying one but havent actually tried it yet.
I have LM Technologies Bluetooth RS-232 Adaptor and it works well. Below is a screenshot of terminal session using Bluetooth RS-232 adaptor and mToken as terminal application:

hm..that picture doesn't quite show a connector a flash drive
hmmm....i dont know any software, wich can manage this.
but this is an interresting feature.
with the right drive and an external power supply for it that would make a very cheap "music" drive for someone
nice idea if you can get it to work
If you mean if your mobile can read from a usb flash drive or something like that, that discussion has been here. The conclusion: windows mobile does not support usb drives and because of that it is going to be a hell of a job if it is even possible. A driver has to be written.
it require usbHost to work very few htc pdas support that
Athena does
o2 flame does (it's not htc though)
cant think of any other
Mates, is it possible to used this one

to the x1 so that we can connect to the internet using LAN if there are no wifi on that area or maybe some of our friends here can create a driver for this to happen??
Admin please delete this thread i have some errors with my connection that's why it come uo with a double post thanks...
i dont think this is possible.
got something to do with USB host and USB slave (or something like that)
your pc is a host
your usb harddisk is a 'slave'
your usb xperia is a 'slave'
your usb networkcard is a 'slave'
and therefor you wont be able to connect a slave to a slave
I bought a Slimport adapter and tried to get it working together with my VGA-HDMI adapter to use my Nexus 4 on my computer screen.
I've plugged the Slimport adapter into my nexus 4 and connected the charger to the slimport adapter.
Then I plugged the HDMI to VGA adapter into the slimport adapter and the VGA-cable into the HDMI to VGA adapter.
Now I dont get a picture on my computer screen.
It doesnt matter which ROM i use, it dosnt work with stock 4.4 nor with omni and the Android L developer preview also dont work.
For now theres no chance for me to test the adapter with an TV that suports VGA because my household dont own one.
Please help me if you can

Did anyone try to connect a Flash drive of any kind to the v20?
Rooted or not when I do it nothing pops up. When I try it on my wife S7, shows the Flashdrive fine.
I tried 3 types of USB C - Mirco USB Adapter than connecting 2 types of Mirco USB to USB C Adapter
Of course a few Flash drive. Only thing I didn't try is straight USB C to Full Size USB
No luck.
