Headset doesn't work - PDA2, XDA IIi, 2020i Software Upgrading

Hi all!
I have the Q-tek 2020i with:
ROM Version: 1.11.04 ITA
ROM Date: 01/31/05
Radio Version: 1.04.00
Protocol Version: 1337.42
ExtROm Version: 1.11.152 ITA
With this ROM, or other that are different from the original, my headset doesn't work. Do you have the same problem?
I've installed also the AD2P, but nothing...
When they will be decided to resolve the problems of 2020i???
It's a shame that this jewel is not followed!

hi,
i installed Widcomm BT-PPC 1.6.0.0700 (don't remember where i found it) on my 2020i (my "not followed jewel" as you say) it gives me te ad2p profile which allows me to connect to a motorola HT820. 6 months to get this solution (the headset was in the drawer) , the only one I have !
it's not that steady (not running automatically, sometimes disconnecting ...) but it works long enough for an half hour bus trip with good music or some phone calls.
Anyway, the sound is pretty good, and the headset is on my head instead of the drawer.

Please Help - Qtek S100 call tone/speaker and ROM

Hello
My Qtek S100 started behaving strangly some days ago - randomly, when making a call, I couldn´t hear the call tones and when eventually the other person answered, the audio was very poor and almost inaudible. Some times it worked, some time it didn´t. Both on the speakerphone and the bluetooth hands-free, audio was normal.
I tried to upgrade with ROM MA_Dangaard_WWE_11100_129_11100_Ship, but it was the same. It does it almost every time. I also forgot to backup the original ROM, so I really messed up with waranty.
Please, could anyone help with my problem and provide a link for the original S100 ROM: ROM version: 1.03.00 WWE
ROM date: 11/01/04
Radio version: 1.01.00
Protocol version: 1337.38
ExtROM version:1.03.148 WWE
Please help... Thank you.

Skypower Bluetooth Handsfree EZ 233 work 1-2 day and then fall the distance from 10m to 5cm. I tests three different EZ 233 and all works the same.

Qtek 1010 - Extreme Frustration!!

I wonder if anyone can help me with this issue.
I recently aquired a Qtek 1010 and everything appears to be working fine except for one extremely frustrating problem.
Sometimes the sound drops out. Not just for phone calls but for everything. I can't hear alerts, incoming calls, calls in general or any other system sounds.
I've been through the Boot loader and tested the sound and it works perfectly and tests fine but still doesn't work in the normal mode.
Device details are:
ROM version: 3.18.04 ENG
ROM date: 05/22/03
Radio Version: 3.25.01
Protocol version: 32S54

Australian XDAIIi ROM

does anyone have the Australian XDAIIi rom?
looking for the following
ROM version: 1:11.00 WWE
Radio Version:1.00.00 (but a newer version would be fine)
Protocol version: 1337.39
ExtROM version: 1:11.923 WWE
i tried backing it up from my XDAIIi myself but no luck
hoping someone else has it done already
only this version i've found so far works with my GPS and BT hand free at the same time on the XDAIIi. i wanna install it onto my other XDAII since i run 2003se on that the BT stack is all screwy for hands free profiles... hoping maybe running the same rom from the XDAIIi on the XDAII will allow be to use my BT hands free and GPS at the same time too.
checkout here.... special thanks goes to pug!

Tytn Radio Problems

hi folks!
i have a problem using my tytn. when i move around to areas with dead spots my mobile seems to crash. well, not the tytn, but the radio rom.
situation:
im talkin to someone with 3-5 bars. hangin up, and switch to standby mode.
then i put it in my pocket (jeans, or whatsoever)..
moving down in the cellar with heavy walls.
Now the tytn iss in standby. when i try to phone it (from another mobile) its just unreachable. so, i switch it on, and i see 3 or 5 bars.
when im trying to make a call it does not work. some seconds later the tytn recognizes that a "netsearch" will be great.
after that it is reachable.
strange thing, just because if i dont touch it, it is unreachable for days..
any suggestions?
i have
Rom version: 1.35.255.2
Radio version: 1.18.00.10
ext. Rom: 1.35.255.102
it is almost useless, because i'm never shure if its reachable or not.
thanks for helping me.

well, updated to 1.20 (radio rom) and unfortunately.. no changes..
my herm100 is not goin to recognize that there is no radio tower.
... and if there's a new... connect to a new one...
my next step is a downgrade to 1.16
i read many of all the threads in this forum and 1.16 seems to be the most stable.
tomorrow i can tell u more of my progresses.

I have posted this elsewhere but would repeat this over here.
I had exactly the same problem with my new Jasjam (S/N Ht647XXX).
The ROM originally (factory installed) when I received my Jasjam is detailed below:-
ROM Version: 1.31.305.2
ROM Date: 8th September 2006
Radio Version: 1.21.31.10
Protocol Version: 32.53.7020.01H
Ext ROM Version: 1.31.305.104
Bootloader Version:1.06
I then went to the i-mate site and downloaded the latest ROM available which is detailed below:-
ROM Version: 1.20.305.3
ROM Date: 21st July 2006
Radio Version: 1.07.03.10
Protocol Version: 32.41.1010.02H
Ext ROM Version: 1.20.305.104
Bootloader Version:1.04
This change of ROM from the one which was supplied with my jasjam to the one available on the i-mate site has totally resolved my problem.
It is rather strange that the ROM available on the i-mate site which the site says is the latest ROM available is actually older than the one which came installed on my jasjam. The only logical reason could be that i-mate realized that the ROM being shipped with their new devices has a problem and have therefore not made it available on their site.
