I understand that you can sync your Outlook Email account sent emails but not your other POP3 accounts. Is there any fix or program that would allow you to do this?

As far as I know, nope. However, you can
1, auto (B)CC yourself so that you also receive your sent stuff
2, use IMAP instead if you have IMAP access (IMAP stores sent mail on the server)
Please see my mailing-related articles; I've elaborated on both these q's qite extensively.
Ok. Thanks

This is what I"m Interested in. When I send emails from my Tilt, I want them to save to my Sent box, Just Like a regular txt message. I have Mail2web email but they dont provide this feature for the free Account. I love mail2web but the no sent emails in the box is my only Gripe. Now to remedy this I tried setting up Gmail, But for some reason when I set up Gmail using Pop3 any outgoing mail I send will appear back in mt Inbox as Well as my sent Box( This is Very annoying). If I set up Gmail using Imap, nothing will get saved in the Sent Box....
Any Ideas or can anyone help me with this Bug in Gmail or a better way to set this up ?
As of yet I havent been able to fix this.
In outlook 2003+ on windows you can specify IMAP folders but as of yet on Winmo I havent been able to do this.
Ok I thought I was the only Idoit not getting this to Work ! It's annoying and I've been working on it for about a week.... I"m Puzzeled !

I Dont mean Including the Orginal txt in the Email. I mean it will resend me my out-going Email As a New email in my Inbox ?
It Does this online as Well from an actually Computer ? I"ve never experienced this ?
Has anyone ever found a solution to this ?
sending is not handled by pop3 or imap both those protocols are only for recieving
both of them use smtp for sending mails
i'm using IMAP for my gmail access and the default is to not sync the sent folder, anything i send only resides on gmail itself, i don't get it showing in my inbox as well. Haven't tried setting sent to sync as well, i don't need to see what i have sent.
mail2web is aggrivating me, any other FREE accounts out there? It wont sync 2 save my life,...
OK, just gone into the folder management side of my PPC's gmail account and flaged Sent items for sync as well as my Inbox and hey presto they have all appeared. Had to make sure the folder at the top was checked and not the obvious sent folder but its synching my sent items.
To clarify my PPC gmail folder list looks like this:
Gmail
[Google Mail]All Mail
Bin
Drafts
Sent Mail
Spam
Starred
and below this i have folders for any categories i have created as well as the default Inbox. Checking the top Sent Itmes has synched it with gmail.
I have encountered an amazing email problem with hotmail or anything else.
Using my new Touch Pro2 with same settings as I have in my TyTN2 and an live.com mail account (registered as pop3) only 1 mail on 50 arrives this evening.
All mail I send from monday to today arrives when they wants and maybe never.
I never received any errors in return ... all seems good.
I have change outgoing smtp server from smtp.live.com to another and so on and sent mails never arrives. (as it mail account registration was corrupted)
I setup today an another mail accounts with outgoing smtp server( that I tried to use with my hotmail account) and all sent mails arrives.
I have two mail under my hotmail sent items account under pocket outlook (or outlook very light) that I need to forward or backup them (Urgent professional task) as a proof.
Impossible to save them as .msg file or sync them to my computer or forward them using hotmail account or another account.
I have loose one day on this so if someone have a solution or a product (backup, sync or anything else) ... many thanks in advance
So here is my question.
I tried to find a solution ... doing some searches
Under Pocket Outlook is possible and if how to
- forward a mail from one account using another account
- how to save an message as "save as .msg" in outlook 2007 (to keep mail structure)
- Synchronize all mail accounts under a pocket pc to outlook 2007 (including all pop3 account and not only the outlook account) to retrieve sent items
- Backup 1 or 2 mails only (or more but not an account totally) and restore them under another account to forward them
or any other solutions that could "extract" two lonely sent items or mail to transfert them ?
Thanks in advance to all for reading me.
Kind Regards

Thanks for your answer.
Live mail account does not have yet IMAP.
I have tried through my computer because my phone provider block IMAP over 3G.

i have a hotmail account, and the number of unread messages, still there...i read them already externally....why isn't it synced up? is it because of my ROM?
are you using Windows Live or a pop3 account setup?
i'm using pop3.live.com and smtp.live.com..it should work..

I believe that POP3 will just download the messages to your phone and not sync the status. Does Hotmail allow you to use IMAP? If so then that will give you the results that you are looking for. I'm using IMAP with 2 different Gmail accounts flawlessly.
to get the updates in your inbox, you're going to need to use imap (which I think you might have to pay for on hotmail) or via Windows Live.. dont take my word on this 100% though as I see Hotmail as complete trash and feel that everyone should use Gmail.
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here we go.
My company uses Groupwise as their email system. Furthermore they refuse to enable POP or IMAP. We do have a BES server for Blackberry's and some mobile solution using Intellisync for WinMo devices.
The only solution so far (A horrible one at that) is to just forward all emails to my gmail account and my Nexus One can see them all.
Two problems.
1. They all come from me so I have to open every single email to see who it is from and what it is about.
2. I can not reply because it just replies to my Groupwise account (The account that forwarded the email).
I have been searching for days as to how I can accomplish this task. I am willing to dedicate a computer in my house that can poll Groupwise and IMAP that information to gmail if that is possible.
If anyone has any ideas, I would be very very appreciative. I will go to almost any means to get this done. I do not even understand my IT department. they said it is ok to forward all my emails, so why not open IMAP? Thanks in advance.

i once worked for a company that had similar email policies using Exchange. so, i signed up for @ $7/month Exchange account with 1 and 1 where i could manage email as if it came from my company account. since my former employer allowed email forwarding, i'd forward to my 1 and 1 account and use a feature that allowed my replies to appear as if they came from my company account. i'm not sure how it would work with Groupwise. oh yeah, i used my travel per diem to cover the monthly expense!
I know this most likely wont be much help but I use lotus notes for example and I have a similar issue where I can't just directly access the account via IMAP or POP. Instead the LN client lets me setup a rule that resides on the server side that forwards the emails to my Gmail account. This has the benefit of preserving the sender (instead of your email address) and when I reply it will go back to the entire distribution list. The only drawback is that it still replies using your gmail credentials which may be bad if this is company mail.
So the rule has to be applied to the emails before they post in your account otherwise you get what you are already using which is forwarded notes from your inbox which will have your name as sender each time. Some rules will say :"When email arrives" then "Forward entire message body to:"...

Is GroupWise accessible from Exchange?
I don't understand; is there some other mail technology that is not POP, IMAP, or Exchange?
Yea that's my problem, Groupwise only has (on the client at least) "When email arrives". I am seriously hating this....

Can you use Intellisync to sync with Outlook on your work PC and sync that with the N1?
Just to be clear, I can set up an auto forward rule in Groupwise to forward all mail to my gmail account. The problem is all the emails in the gmail account have a from "my groupwise account". Then if I try to reply to that email, it reply's To "my groupwise account". So technically I just have a huge annoyance issue I am trying to resolve here.
Here is what I have so far, but I do not know if it is even helping...
I found a Groupwise Connector for Outlook. This allows a dedicated computer at home the ability to have all of my Groupwise mail. Now that I have this dedicated computer set up that has all my emails in real time. I need some way of syncing them to Gmail. I have CompanionLink, but this just syncs my calendar, contacts and tasks... No email.

Unified email
Hey everyone! my friend and i have hd2's but he has 6 email accounts and he was asking me is there a way to make all his emails come into one inbox like on blackberries...i suppose its called "unified email"
ive been using windows mobile for a year now and i cant seem to find a way to "unify" the emails..is there a way for this to be done?
thank you
btw he has the stock tmobile rom,
which would be windows phone 6.5

I don't know of a specific way to do this on WinMo; however, a work around would be to setup a GMail account (or Hotmail, Yahoo, whichever) and configure that to download email from the six accounts.
Once you have done this, you would only need to setup the Gmail (or other) account on your phone and everything should all come down in one place.
Not really a cure, but a solution nonetheless.
Re: Unified Email
I've used Flexmail for this purpose. It can integrate yahoo, gmail, hotmail, and other types of POP mail accounts and send them to you via imap push. With Flexmail, you can set rules for incoming emails so that they automatically sort into folders on your phone. I like it a lot.

Flexmail was excellent when I used it on a Treo Pro. I've installed it on my HD2 and found it was not at all useable without a D-pad. I just couldn't get it to work right.

Gmail does everything you listed as well via pop, imap push, and exchange for free. If you use the exchange setup you can sync your calendar and contacts as well, works great.
Great recommendation by Franwella.
Hi,
I use Gmail for this too, works well.
using Gmail is the right solution. I'm using it and it's a lot confortable.
