I have been extensively reviewing the photos posted all over the web before purchasing my own HTC wizard . The photos seem to be good , but doesn't it look kind of funny that this does not support atleast 320 X 240 video ? Is there any software available that can substitute the existing camera software allowing this ? If you can remember , SonyEricsson P800 didn't have a video camera , but Philips ( I think ) had developed a software for it !
yep cool camera allows you to do 320x240 video recording

Hi,
I developed and app for win.mob.6 for video capture live streaming using direct show filter. WMV9 encoder has very low performance of framerate no more 4 fps with lower res.
I am testing the app on HTC touch dual. I tried to enum all filters availables, but I found only WMV9 Encoder. The original app cam coder can create 3gp file with h263+amr-nb. I'd like to know how is possibile this !!! no h263 filter encoder are available.
I am looking for an htc WM5/6 model that can capture video frames encoded to 15 fps with a mid res 170x140.
help please.
thanks
Hi fala70,
I am sorry but I couldnt quite understand what it is your current status.
Have you developed the application and it is working or you would like to do it now?
What do you mean 'original' application. Are you based on an open source example or something?
Nice subject though!
This issue has been discussed quite a number of times (I asked the same thing a few months ago) but no resolution as come out so far. I think HTC does not allow its "private" encoders to be "enumerated".
My status it that I want understand if is possible to use an other codec encoder different from WMV9. WmV9 is too slow.

you can try to edit the registry to increase video recording performance..read more in elf's wiki page..
I find the Elf camera capture to be rubbish as well. Especially video..
As of yet, I have not found a resolution.
I found out that HTC works best in photos when there is good lighting.
If you have bad lighting, get a Nikon.
For video, its a failure.
thnks
thnks man .i will try not to use ths camera for video shooting
SE arc is not tagging photos canot add photo to contact face recognition feature..
media scape is missing
zoom is not available
please please help me
SE has dropped the original Media Scape ( as in X10 )...
Zoom function is only available in lower resolution ( try 2MP or 3MP ) this is a disadvantage of Smart Zoom, and SE didn't add the regular Digital Zoom as an alternative solution

Photo tagging isn't anymore it think this was on of the problems when updating android version.
Like Xajel said mediascape isn't also available, again problems with update.
Digital zoom is always bad, low quality. may look good on phone but not on the computer.
Hi, is it possible to get video stabilization in nokia 6 2017
? Is not it possible using camera 2 api? or any Google camera Moded out there? can't we get live video stabilization?
i think we can enable video stabilization using open camera by enabling 'camera 2 api' from settings, but i don't think video stabilization actually works by using open cam, seems like nothing changes but you guys can tell the difference if their is !
