Midlet manager (jmm) for HTC Apache (Sprint 6700)?

I've looked but can't find anything re: ability to install midlet manager on the Sprint 6700...Since it's an apache you'd think we'd be able to, even if unsupported...?
By the way, is there any advantage to this over IBM J9?
One advantage i hoped for was the ability to map the right & left hardware softkeys (on IBM J9, we have to click on the screen instead of using HW buttons)...
Thanks
bump
If you can find it, there is the intent midlet manager from a T-Mobile Wizard that works on the new Apache.
For a more legal version, try the IBM Midlet manager.
*hint* look on the ftp site

THanks, but the IBM version drives me nuts b/c it doesn't use the HW buttons for softkeys, and further takes up a line of the screen with its "virtual" softkeys! Worse, I can't access the virtual softkeys without minimizing the SIP ...
Any info on overriding this would be welcome too

Wanted Midlet Manager

Hi guys is anyone able to getthe midlet manager within the HTC device to put on the TREO 750v. I know its made by HTC butthere is no Java Midlet Manager.
Read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=272499
Device specific
Keep in mind that, atleast for the Intent Midlet Manager, they are very much device specific. You might be able to install them on similar hardware (ie. using a Wizard Midlet Mgr on an Apache) but trying to use an HTC mgr on non HTC hardware will probably not work.
I believe the reason for this is that the Midlet Managers require alot of hardware hooks to work correctly, especially when it comes to graphics and phone controls.

How to launch directly a java midlet ?

Hi all,
I am looking for a way to launch a midlet in one step.
I mean without launching the midlet manager first and then launching the midlet.
Is there a way to do that ?
Thanks for your help !
I think you can do it with mortscript.

J2ME for WM6

Trying to figure out if there was ever a real Java VM developed for WM6. I know my TyTn II has something called Esmertec Jbed but when I try to run a MIDlet it says "the MIDlet could not be instatiated: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError"
Could someone else try this out and see if they have better luck?

Otherwise I'm looking for recoomendations on an application to use my WM6 device as a remote over bluetooth mapped to keystrokes on my vista box.
Thanks,
Devan

1. no BT in any J2ME's, sorry - read my MIDlet Bible.
2. check out my remote Bibles for alternates - for example, http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...s for Windows Mobile - the Definitive Roundup . I recommend for example PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite
Thanks for the write-up really shows a lot of options out there for media control.
I'm trying to use this to control XBMC, which primarily uses just the simple arrow keys. I got really excited by PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite but it seems that the keypresses don't work correctly in XBMC. That is to say that when I test them in another window they work, but then in XBMC I have no luck.
Then I tried jaylee.org’s Bluetooth Remote Control for Windows Mobile but I can't get the WM client to discover the server app.
Really I just need something that allows me to map controls on the display of my phone to keypresses at the PC (like the above programs)
Handy comparison table though.
