Looking at buying a IMATE JASJAM outright in Australia for use with the Telstra NextG network (850Mhz), should i buy the IMATE model or the DOPOD or does it really make a difference with bundled software?
Ok now im confused... i thought the JASJAM and Dopod 838PRO were the same device?? Dopod state that the 838Pro has bluetooth 2.0 without EDR and the JASJAM is only 1.2 without EDR, can anyone confirm this??

Hi to all, I'm using T-Mobile MDA compat II (i-mate Jam 128mb WM5) and I'm thinking to upgrade to the new Prophet.
Does anyone knows all the upgrades between these two?
And another question- Will the new Prophet fit to the Jam cases and cradles?

As far as I know, there aren't differences. The Hermes name was when this product has been launched on the market :lol:

Hermes is the generic code name used by HTC for all the devices.
TyTN is the comercial name used by HTC itself to sell the Hermes devices.
You can find it under many other names:

I'm about to buy this All in one GPS, mounting, car charger (charge both gps and mobile phone) for a reasonable price. Problem is that the seller is not sure whether it will work with Dopod 838pro or not. he only said he has a charger for Dopod 838 and it should work the same way...
Can someone please confirm for me if the Dopod 838 charger will work on Dopod 838pro charger or not.
