notebook as headset - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I use a notebook with the widcomm BT stack.
Headset works, when using the phone.
But I want also all sounds to be played via the headset, so that I can use TCPMP or Windows Media Player with the notebook headset profile.
Any ideas?

Use headset profile with bluetooth headset (Nokia HDW-3)

I have a Nokia HDW-3 bluetooth headset and have connected it to the phone using the hands-free profile. The headset also supports the headset profile and I'd also like to use that. How can I send the output from the media player to the headset ?
When I had an Ipaq, I had to hack the registry to turn on the headset profile - do I need to do that with the Universal ?
Thanks
Peter

can i use normal bluetooth headset to listen to mp3 ?

is there any way to use normal bluetooth headset to listen to mp3 and etc ? like my old nokia phone
thanks.
No, if the normal headset is not stereo, you can't receive mp3s with a HTC Magician. It doesn't have the Widcomm BT stack, as this stack lets you stream any audio to a headset, even mono.

possibility of using magician as audio output?

hi,
i thought about these bt-adapters that are used to connect a notebook or pda to connect to a stereo.
isn't it possible to use the magician as a bt-audio adapter with that you can play your desktop sound on the stereo (eventually via a 2,5 to 2,5 klink adapter) via bt?
i looked already a little bit around but didn't find a possibility to connect the notebook to the pda and stream the sound to the pda.
any ideas?
greetings,
lindsche
I asked this question like a year ago and also didn't receive any answers.
Should be possible though with the a2dp supporting bt stack,
nevertheless I couldn't get it to work.
I dont know about BT, but it works with a phono cable, ive caned an 800watt sound system with my magician
jupp i used it already like this with mortplayer, but the question is if there is a way to use the pda as a bt-soundcard like a headset.
You could connect it using Bluesoleil -> PAN and
then just open a playlist on the "server".
afaik you can't use it as bluetooth headset because it just doesn't
have the proper bt profile.

A2DP from windows mobile 6 to hearing aids?

Hi!
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so if I am wring, please let me know where to post it.
I would like to use my older smartphone (an HTC touch diamond 1) as an mp3 player for my daughter. She has hearing aids capable of using bluetooth, the device actually receiving bluetooth is known as "Oticon Streamer".
I tried installing A2DP toggler, the program seems to work in general (I can connect to the Oticon Streamer, it is recognized as bluetooth headset, I can only switch A2DP on while streamer is actually on and connected), but eventually it does not work: sound comes always and only through the speakers. For playing music (mostly mp3) I am using mort player.
Do I need special software for playing music files when I want to send them to A2DP or is there something I could try to make it working?
Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!
You don't need any 3rd-party add-on/SW to get bluetooth working for A2DP. The MS bluetooth stack on WM6.1 on HTC diamond1 should have everything you need. I have the same HTC phone and I also use BT stereo headsets which supports A2DP. Just pair the hearing aids if it supports A2DP.
