The "Palm Messaging App" thread shows 239 replies with the latest being a few hours ago, but when I open the thread, I only get 2 available pages (was 24 yesterday) with the last entry dated 20 October.
Any mods noticed this yet?
oops
my bad - i apparently don't have the hang of the new "display modes" yet. Sorry.

Thought I would start a new thread on this project
I have taken KingFetty's app and modified it to have more functionality.
CallCalendar2 Changelog
=======================
3/26/2007 12:16PM
* Added menu's
* Configurable to optional minimizing on startup. (Running it again will restore the app.)
* Added a list box to show the records.
* Added the option of recording missed calls as well.
* Added notification. Using WM notification services, it can optionally show a popup when a tracked event occurs. I used this for debugging, but some may like it.
3/27/2007 12:16PM
* Added call time tracking
If you have any suggestions for additions, let me know.
Error Message after soft reset
That is great to have this kind of program
Please look at this

thanks,
Ron1n are you still working on this?
There are a few people after this and the link in your sig is down. Any chance of
putting a new link up?
Cheers for all your work on this app I look forward to using it.

sry, there's big confusion with that app now - which one is that new one?
will be newer one?
it seems to be useful thing imo...
I have not been updating it recently but I may have a newer one than my last post. I will update the link shortly, my domain is being renewed today and should be up by tomorrow. If you have any suggestions for updates, let me know.

Can your notification be set to be repeating so you keep getting reminded of the missed call? Reason I ask is I use TodayAgenda and the entries do not appear to show up right away.
Cheers For the Link!
Cheers for the link Ron1n.
I have had some problems with your version (callcalendar2). I am getting multiple entries for for phone calls and also some of the phone calls are saying that they have lasted for 12-15 hours.
I have now reverted back to the original callcalendar.
If there is anything you would like me do (testing or get logs or something) then I would be happy to help.
Hopefully speak soon.
Rochey
This is a great application.
On my Touch it seems to work fine. I would have a couple of additional options if possible:
1. I would like to be able to hide the 1st screen that pops up on boot. This boot screen is really irritating as sometimes it lingers for ages as other processes execute in the background. If I could avoid it altogether with a registry entry...
2. I would like missed calls to be added to the calendar with a configurable forward time. So if I miss the call it will pop up in 5 minutes and remind me that X called. Another registry option would be great...
Apart from this it seems to work really well.
Kind Regards,
Sam.
Is there a way to donate?
Any news R0N1N?
Hi ya R0N1N, any news on the newer version of your app?
I look forward to it.
Rochey
it will be nice if you could give the option to add or not the call/number to calandar..
instead of have it automaticly add to the calandar.
by the end of the day my calendar look like I have meeting till the nest year.

Has anyone found the solution for this problem?
I went back to the original version... it works great
Does anyone have a download link that works for the latest version of CallCalendar2?
I definitely second that. I love this app and din't even know there was a version 2 until I saw this thread.
this is a great program every since i've found out bout it i've installed it hope the creator doesn't mind me postin the cab back up
Hmmm - I still get calendar appointments that are 1 hour out
Are any of the dev guys who wrote this code around anymore?
EDIT: It seems like it's caused by the TimeZone updates MS released lately... Looks to do with the application not looking at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\TimeZones.
Thanks for the repost. Much appreciations.
Hi all,
I've rebuilt the original CallCalendar app by KingFetty in VS2008 (with hopefully a bug fix or two) and using .Net 3.5 framework.
See how you go with this
What makes this version different from the one posted a few posts up? Any changes?
Is it possible to make a version that would run as a process or service? Available versions are visible in task managers(under applications), also in QuickMenu, and I hate that...
Looks like it's something to do with Utube and client update (whatever that is).

NO...
there is info:
Update Information: Firmware over-the-air (FOTA) client update & YouTube player Update
Can someone who has this come up get a logcat of the url please.
Change the system date and the update notification will pop up.
Nothing changed besides the Youtube player (it is working now, geez it just took HTC 5 months to fix it)...and the settings menue look differently.

Moved my date forward to 16th June (Yesterday) then allowed the phone to re register on the network and it the update popped up. Didn't take long to download (it is only a minor update at the moment though) It took quite a while to install though (about 20 mins until it was fully settled).

Oh, right, it's because I have a HTC Hero Orange, but I've got my T-Mobile sim inside, I guess that would matter, silly question to ask, but need it answered.
Thanks

My wife is having one small issue with her new Nexus 4 - not rooted yet - and I'm curious if anyone here has experienced this. In her Settings, the "Automatic Date and Time" selection wants to keep un-selecting which forces her to go back in and re-select it. She's noticed this maybe 3-4 times in the week she's had her new phone. I did a cursory search of this forum (and the General forum) and the Google support page but came up empty. Has anyone else seen this or maybe even be able to provide a solution?

Had this a few years ago on a wildfire, think it was the mobile network as it sorted itself when I switched supplier.
I ended up using clock sync app to keep time in sync otherwise it drifted a lot.

I guess I'll have to keep an eye on things. My son's identical phone (bought at the same time) doesn't seem to exhibit this behavior.

Hi all. I've tried looking for answers to these on the forum so hopefully I won't get blasted if they happen to be hidden away somewhere.
I'm running the HTC Blinkfeed port (launcher) on my phone. It's actually a One Plus One but seeing as it's running stock Android (more or less) I figured it was okay to post here (plus this is where I found the newly closed big thread on the port).
I'm coming from an M8 so I have it next to me to make comparisons with.
- While the weather widget shows up on top of the feed page, it doesn't seem to launch anything when I press it. It's also displaying in celcius instead of farenheit. Can those be fixed on my part or are they still being worked on?
- Are the phone and messaging apps that come on that M8 available yet?
- When the next iteration of the port comes out, what do I do exactly? Do I have to remove the one I currently have or can the files be installed on top of it? Will I lose my Blinkfeed settings when I do it?
Thank you!

Have you tried posting this in the thread for the blinkfeed port?:good:
Did anyone notice that the YotaFinance App does not synchronize the updated values for currencies and stock exchange values?
The last time it updated was about 6 days ago and since then no update anyomore.
I removed the widget and placed it again but no difference.
What can be the cause for this?
Does anyone else has the same problem?
(I wrote the same thread in the App section but saw it would better fit here, so if it is possible the thread in the App section can be removed).

Yes, I have noticed the same thing. I suspect it has something to do with the release of the official update to Android 6, but have no real facts to prove it.
At first it was working fine for me (YD201 with Android 5 build EU124b), and then suddenly not any more.
I first thought it was something that I did that caused it, but even after reversing all my recent changes, it still did not work...
I then did a factory reset to see it that would help -> did not help
I re-flashed with the official firmware of build EU124b -> did not help
I flashed the RU build and let it update to 134 and Android 6 -> then the finance widget worked
I re-flashed the EU124b build (Android 5) -> and again the finance widget does not update
So therefore I suspect they changed something on their side when they officially released Android 6, but I am only speculating.

Exactly.
I got an answer on google play:
"We have switched to another content provider. The necessary changes on the app's side have been made and they will be available on the Android M firmware version. Please accept our apologies for the temporary inconvenience."
So, it won't be usable anymore with Lollipop anymore. That's worse!
