How to increase the actual volume level? - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Hi Is there any registry hack or trick to increase the volume level of the Universal? Compratively with the wizard (I have both) is very low and when in a shopping center or other noisely environement I don't ear it ring.
Thanks

I used Antik and gained it in Wavelab. Now I can hear it ring pretty good. I attached the WAV.

Thank you for the wave file. it is realy more audible. But i'm looking for a sistem solution a more general solution. I have tomtom 6 installed and with the volume in maximum level the voices are so quiet...

Low Phone headset volume

I would like to know if there is a way to hack the registry to increase / boost the phone headset volume. Please note I am not talking about the "speakerphone" volume, I just find that when talking to someone on the phone headset it seems alot softer than the Wizard that I had before, even when the volume is set to max.
i would also like to know how to do this. i feel like my wizards ear piece volume was deafening.. but on the tytn its so incredibly low
I don't have a problem with the headset, but even on the highest volume setting the phone's earpiece speaker is a bit too quiet.
Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks.
Same hear, just to darn low at the highest volume setting. I see there are fixes for other HTC phones but nothing specific for this phone. Has anyone on this board managed to hack the registry and find an effective fix to increase the earpiece volume?
i'd love this as well - just bought one of these :
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=138247
and the volume level is VERY disappointing. my wizard used to have an acceptable volume level but i can't imagine being able to hear music on my tytn with traffic around. :-(

Do you have S2U2 installed? Encountered a similar problem with this S/W installed....had to remove it unfortunately, after using it on several previous devices.....
hmm no i dont have s2u2 installed, il have to see if i installed something that caused this
anyone?????????
got the same pronblem... not sure since when. I have installed s2u2, but set it like recommended by other users who definitely CAN control the in-call-volume... got no idea... looks like a hard-reset may be necessaray... but I just don't want ang got no time... ****...
regards jan
I CAN control the volume, but it doesn't go to zero. I mean the minimum value is still high.
earpiece volume too low
i thought i'd post this here: i have found the earpiece volume during a call to be rather too low, even though i set the volume to the highest level. other aspects of the sound function seem to work nicely, loud speaker and headphones are pretty loud, but the earpiece is too damn low. any thoughts..
any idea if HD tweak can increase the earpiece volume
i found that option 3.3 acoustic setting when set to maximal increased my earpiece volume dramatically during calls. and that option 3.4 increase sound increases the ringer volume. can anyone confirm

could it be the simple issue that, by default, HD changes the ring volume and not the speaker volume when you press volume rocker?
you can check this and if this is your problem, do a search through the forum and you will find the registry tweak, or the volume cab to change this.
good luck!
Hi folks,
found another possible reason (but unfortunaly no solution yet) for in-call volume control not working... as this thread mainly focuses on s2u2, i've opened a new one here

Ringtone Volume!!

Hi
How can increase sound Volume of My Herald. Is there Software for this. I have the maximum level selected for the Ringtone but still it is not quite loud and my a times my calls gets missed.
Can anyone help me in this??:confused :
you could try Audacity, i've used this software before, certain mp3's can be increased in volume, have done this myself, also you can try "Super" by erightsoft, and click other opts and increase vol, this program is also good for converting videos for your phone, they are both free. good luck

Increase phone volume? SMS ringtone?

How I can put a ringtone for SMSes?
How can I increase phone volume? It's too soft even in non-crowded areas.
S200 is more silent then other similar devices - sad but true. Somewhere I saw a thread witn volume improvement (via OS).
There's this cab (see atachments) that installs a new WAV-device but I doubt it really works. I think Acer's ROM 3.003c also improves on sound a bit. At least call volume seems to be better but this also depends on the other party.
Cheers

External speaker increase low volume

Anyway to make the external speaker volume louder through a hack or app? Its way to low making it it useless for car navigation but more importantly I can't hear it ringing when I have it in my pocket.
After we manage to run custom roms from NAND, you can use DSPManager, but in the meantime, you can hack your AudioPara.CSV is you know how to.

they could probably increase it with a firmware update not 100% sure
as for ring volume as a work around just open an audio editing program like audacity and increase the volume of an mp3 that you plan to use as a ringtone then copy it to the device and use that it should be louder cause you have increased the volume of the mp3
its nto a fix for everything but its a work around for the ringer at least

AudioPara.CSV is a windows mobile file. This in an android device. Your instructions are useless.
I am also looking to increase audio volume. Mine is quite low, I cant even use speakerphone properly. You cant hear the person.
I also own the samsung galaxy and the desire hd is about half the volume, if that.
I can hardly hear anyone on this phone and the music/podcast playback is ridiculously low. Did anyone in HTC actually use this phone before manufacturing it?
Their donkeys did...
I dont find it that low.
Was about to set a alarm signal and it was too low to hear.
But instead I choose to use a file from the music folder and
it was much louder.
Seamed strange, but the volume is OK!
