I have done very little research on my question. Looking at the pinouts on an XDA, and the pinouts on a mouse, would it be possible to butchera keyboard or create an adapter for a PS2 or USB keyboard to work with an MDA/XDA I??? II???? Let me know if anyone has tried.
I know someone else had butchered a mouse to work; I'm going to look for that thread now. ALSO, do you need a driver for something like that?
The developers successfully adapted an ipaq keyboard to work with xda, if you want to use a full size keyboard there is a cheap irda adaptor that allows this. Keyboards for pda's have dropped in price dramatically, check out www.ebay.co.uk and type xda or xda keyboard. There is a link for the full size keyboard adaptor in my earlier posts. Regards the driver, the special edition rom contains one that works fine for many keyboards including my genuine xda keyboard, only proble is that it activates after every reset so has to be disabled for wired gps function as it grabs com 1.
Thanks, cruisin-thru!!!
has anyone tried using a bluetooth mouse on the touch pro? i found this driver on the net which will allow you to use a bluetooth mouse on the PPC.

the driver is available for download as a trial. i wanted to test it out but i do not have a bt mouse. anyone with one please try it and give feedbacks!! i think this is one useful application specially for browsing the net.
I've used this driver on my Mogul and it worked great for everything (including surfing the net). I have not used on the TP yet.

mind if you share what kind of mouse you used? ive been reading through the threads and i have yet to find a mouse that will be perfectly compatible. also, can it work while having a bluetooth keyboard on as well?
My mouse is a Dell Travel Mouse PU705. I could right click, left click, and use the scroll wheel. I can't help you with the KB, I don't have a Bluetooth KB to test it with.

where did you by it?
honestly, why would you need a mouse on a small screen device?
haha, I wouldn't mind a small bluetooth keyboard, but a mouse is pretty useless, don't you think?

Standard HID protocol for BT mouse.
Hey!
Is there a program that would emulate a pc trackpad and keyboard for android that would connect to a pc over bluetooth and let me type and move the mouse cursor with my phone? It's for my mini pc, i usually carry it around but i dont have a spare keyboard and mouse, i considered buying a foldable flexible keyboard but 40$ for a bluetooth keyboard is slightly too much for me, and i dont write alot on that pc.
So is there one?

You can try PRemoteDroid on the market. it has WiFi and Bluetooth I can't get Bluetooth to work. It could be cause I have a cheap Bluetooth adapter to. but WiFi works for me. You got to download the server side to.

I've had great luck with a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse and K340 keyboard. They aren't sold as a set, but they both use Logitech's 'Unity' receiver, so I just used a Windows laptop to pair both with the same receiver. After that, all you have to do is just plug it in, and the receiver is *tiny*, so you don't necessarily even need to worry about unplugging it when you aren't using it.

Hi, I have some problems connect my keyboard and mouse to my note.
I have Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 mouse and keyboard
It works fine with my Chinese tablet, but when i connect it to my phone it comes up as keyboard connected and mouse connected but nothing works. No error or anything cursor does not come up.
I saw one thread that says it worked for someone but it does not come up for me.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction ? What am i doing wrong ?
Thanks
Noone tried this yet ?
I used my MS 500 BT Mouse and my HP TouchPad BT Keyboard. Worked beautifully. The mouse curser cam up and the keyboard worked great with no lag.
My keyboard and mouse is one dongle so maybe that is why it does not work. Has anyone tried this exact setup ?
My guess is that dongle connected mouse+keyboard combos are not fully supported because they usually need specific drivers. I have a feeling I read it somewhere around these forums. There might be some exceptions but on Android it's recommended to connect BT HID compliant devices only.
Does anybody have a apple bluetooth keyboard on hand to test it with ?? (a friend of mine use mine) tx
