I regularly use mt o2 xda mini s with a BT headset. If I connect up a BT GPS receiver will I still be able to use my BT headset as well?
Yes. Have been using this way for long time
What is your headset bluetooth version? I had problem with using BT 2.0 headset (HBH-610) with BT GPS receiver. On making calls bluetooth on the device was just turned off by itself. Headset bluetooth 1.2 (HBH-662) works fine with this combination. Looks like microsoft BT stack can not work correctly with serveral simultaneous connections of different bluetooth versions.
I am using plantronics 320, Bluetooth 1.2
And GlobalSat BT-338 GPS
Thanks all.
Am using SE HBH600 headset with the Co-Pilot Sat Nav system with has a Blue Tooth GPS Connection - and it works fine. No Problems.

I have an Xda2 running CoPilot 5 gps linked to a Rikaline X7 b/tooth gps receiver. All works fine. But at the same time I want to be able to take calls on a b/tooth earpiece whilst in my car.
I'm getting conflicting advice. Some say the Xda2 won't support 2 b/tooth devices running at the same time, but others say it can. Any suggestions please.
I was thinking of getting the new Motorola HS850 headset. Any comments?
Thanks
I use a Belkin BT GPS and a Jabra250 BT headset, I can make/answer calls while using GPS without any problem.
I use a Holux GR231 BT GPS and a Jabra 250 BT headset with ROM 1.72 FR, and I have NO PROBLEM to phone while navigating.
Hello,
I wonder if the i-Mate Jam can make 2 bluetooth connections at se same time. I explain myself. I want to make a BT connection with my GPS and also with my BT Handsfree Car Kit.
If this is possible I can use the TomTom soft earing the indications trought the speakers of the car.

Yes it can, I use the TomTom Bluetooth GPS and the BT Jabra 200 headset at the same time with no problems.
I use the standard magician bluetooth stack, no tools or upgrades or anything.
I can confirm this. I tried it with a TomTom Bluetooth GPS and a Jabra BT-250. It worked with the standard bluetooth stack.

Hai all!
With I-Mate Jam is possible to use both bluetooth car-kit and a bluetooth GPS receiver at the same tiome?
(2 bluetooth devices connected)
l hope so because I'm hoping to do the same thing soon myself.
I think so. I use both BT headset and GPS at once.
I use a belkin bluetooth headset and a Leadtek bluetooth GPS everyday at the same time and there is no problem.
are you using the original bluetooth stack or a different one?
my mda compact(same phone) works fine with my bluetooth gps and my bluetooth neadset
I use a BT GPS regularly with the TMo MDA (US) and would like to add a BT headset for phone use only. Will this cause any conflicts or errant behavior with the GPS when it is used? What happens if the GPS is being used and the BT headset is also enabled? Will they work together independently?
The reason I ask is that everytime I use the BT GPS on my notebook, the GPS requires re-creation of the partnership on the MDA, including re-entering the password, which is a real hassle. This isn't the same thing, but my two-year relationship with BT has taught me that it is not particularly user-friendly.
Has anyone here set up both? Any problems?
As far as the K-Jam goes, I've had both GPS and BT Headset active and they work no problem. Using TomTom I can recieve calls while Navigating but I do notice that when Audio is being transfered to the AudioGateway (Bluetooth Headset) TomTom will slow down, other than that, seems to work no problem
i have the cingular 8125, the motorola stereo BT headset and a BT gps reciever and use Iguidance for the gps software.. i have no issues using them all at the same time. Plus if im not in a call then iguidance will give the voice directions over by stereo headset.
Thanks to both of you. Shogunmark has a setup very similar to mine, as I have an old Foturna Clip-On BT GPS and running iGuidance v3. I'll give the BT headset a try.
I have a Nike and also got a Jabra BT3030 bluetooth headset and a Freecom keychain GPS.
When the GPS is connected and I turn on the headset, the GPS drops out, is there a way to have them both running together?
Thanks
Jonny
I use a Dual too, and in my car I have:
Parrot hands-free (BT)
GPS receiver (BT)
Each time I enter my car, the parrot detects and connects to dual, and the GPS conects either.
Even when I am in call the gps continue to refresh without problems
It works with my other bluetooth head set but this jabra one is a stereo headset with hands free.
