Adobe - Flash 7 - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Has anyone else used Flash 7 yet??
I've been on flash 6 for a while than i stumbled upon this one. It doesnt really seem to make a difference other than being able to play swf files.
Any other opinions.

[Q] Is Flash 10.1 possible on HTC Hero?

Sorry if the answer is obvious but I could nt find a definitive answer anywhere.
So is full flash experience with adobe 10.1 possible on HTC HERO. I have Darchdroid 2.8 running on mine.
thx
guys... theres like 15 other threads asking the same thing, and multiple posts within rom threads..
If you want flash in any kinda way (lite) you need to be running a sense_ui rom
For example both zenheroFX and zenEXP have flash.
Darchdroid, aosp and cm roms will not be able to run it.
Thanks for pointing that out. Really liked DD2.8 otherwise.
what are you guys doing that makes you want/need flash on a phone with a tiny screen? I really am curious, I cannot think of anything that I would want to do on a phone that requires flash. Are you trying to play face book flash games or something? Hulu could maybe be a use, but flash video barely works on an Atom running anything but windows, so it sure as hell isn't going to work on an ARM running android...
I am interested in some news websites that show live feed of tv channel. went to sprint's store and evo played it really well.
so flash video.... the evo is a much faster phone, also htc put a lot of effort into the version of flash that's on there.

Does anyone have solution on adobe flash player 10.1 on g1?

If you have no solution and going to put me down then go somewhere else.
I dont need no troll comments and negative one too. Just positive comments plz.
I tried using adobe flash player 10.1 beta is installed, but the apps kick me out of the browser.
Did anyone get different and positive results?

flash is not compiled for the g1's processor.
its not like it could not happen, adobe has all the tools necissary, but its doubtful that they'll do it.
as of yet there is no way to get flash working on this chipset.
And its doubtfull that it ever will.
Honestly if someone here could coded it, i bet the adobe flash player would work perfectly good or decent at least. Adobe probably put an requirement on speed in this apk i had. I can send it to you guys if you want.

This is the only apk that will allow you to download it to the g1.

its definitely installable on the g1, but like I said its not coded right for it.
unfortunately, its pretty near imposable to reverse engineer the apk, we need source code for that (which adobe will never release because its not an open source app)
the only chances of getting flash working on the g1 is to ask adobe and hope they listen.
or someone with a crazy amount of time on their hands would have to find some open source equivalent to flash and recode it for our devises, unfortunately these are usually buggy to begin with and I doubt anyone besides adobe has the power to do this.
so in short you'll have to petition adobe, its the only way
who knows maybe they'll listen.

[Q] Is the loss of Adobe Flash a deal breaker?

For me being able to use Flash is the reason I started using Android! I despised the idea of not being able to see exactly what I could from my PC! Now Adobe is getting rid of Flash all together!!! I was about to place my order for the Nexus 7 when I read about this! I don't know what to think, not sure if I still want to order it or not! Is this a deal breaker for anyone else???

You'll still be able to use Flash. Just download it now. They will still provide updates/patches, but they won't allow fresh installs after mid August. So if you have it now, keep it. If not, I'm sure an apk will always be available for you.
Flash works perfectly on Android 4.1 on the Galaxy Nexus.
Though it is being taken down, simply backup the APK and you can install it later. It works with the recently updated firefox.

Excellent problem + solution .. dang .. that was almost a deal breaker..
The concern now is the next version of Android, will 5.0 break flash support?
Flash simply is not needed anymore. Most sites are not using it anymore and those that do wil be dropping it soon now Adobe is not going to support it anymore.

I'm tired of that argument. "Most" sites don't? There are certainly some that do and their migration to HTML5 is not so buttery smooth. Flash is a resource, it completes the experience. It's a valid reason why a lot of people haven't migrated to Windows Phone or ignore the iPhone. The industry, thanks to Apple, is pushing "Apps" when a Flash equipped browser can do what some apps try to do but can't. Honestly, do you see banking sites and web apps being migrated to dumb downed app versions on a PC? No. There might be some productivity software like Mint but overall, the web with flash is very important. Until there no longer exists web based flash content, then we can say there is no need for flash. Until then, it's perfectly reasonable to want flash.

Any major change to Android will break flash, unless its a 3rd party version which could be updated.

*WORKING Kies Air Apk for ROM: N7000XXLSA & N7000XXLSC*

Greets Mortals,
I figured I would post this here to get attention, so Mods my apologies.
I know I have been seeing the fact that Kies Air is not in this leaked rom, and I kept having FC issues with the one that is available on Google Play, so I went on a hunt, and I found a version that DOES work on the LS2 and LSA roms. I know alot like this feature of being able to upload pictures, and create events etc, so I tested this out and to the best of my knowledge by testing it out it works, so for anyone that needs or wants Kies Air, see the attachment below.
Dev's feel free to add this apk into your roms if need be, or link to this post for anyone wishing to use this app.
No Support for this file, it either works for you or it doesnt, I'm just providing help where I can
will check.

I've removed the existing Kies and installed yours.
It's confirmed working.

if you have much media (photos and videos) its getting slow on browsing or viewing via wifi. it has limitations. We capture the photos and video mostly at high settings so it creates big files like im getting shot and its creating 4 to 8 mb jpeg files which is too big and not suitable for wifi editing.

I'll direct you to my thread here in whiich I have tried some apk's on different roms but found they all stutter very bad and are not going to work properly, so so trying to diagnose and solve the issue.
It would be nice if you chipped in also with any info you can as this seems a common Nexus 10 owners issue with 4.2.2 regardless what rom you use.
