My 2.26 MDA won't show the sim contacts - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

How can i get it to show the contacts from my sim card.
I have version 2.26

1. Do you have any SIM contacts on your SIM card?
2. Can you see them if you go to Start---Programs----SIM Manager??
3. Check your registry under HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone look for the entry ShowSIM and if it's set to 0 then change the value to 1.

Few newbie issues

Im sure there is a very simple way to fix these issues im having, but I havent found the application to do so yet, so im in need of some help.
I just performed a hard-reset on my t-mobile mda to the new rom update. Since then my contact list is showing my sim contacts, and the contacts in the actual phone (which is a copy of the sim contacts); and i'd like for the list to show only the phones contacts. Also any theme I download doesnt seem to work. i usually get them from littlethemes.com and they are .tsk files. I had a few working before the update. I had a similar program to tweaks2k2; basically a compilation of different registry tweaks, except it was a free version. if anyone can help me to find the app. and/or fixing any of these issue's i would def. appreciate it.
Thank you in advance
In order to hide the sim contacts get yourself a decent file explorer such as total commander (http://www.ghisler.com/ce.htm) and make the following changes. . . .
\\ > Registry > HKCU > ControlPanel > Phone
Add the following value to it:
Key: ShowSim (dWord)
Value: 0 (decimal)
I am not sure what the problem is with your today themes. Try placing the themes in the root directory of your storage card or windows\my documents. Browse to start>settings>personal>today and see if your files are populating the list under 'appearance'
For further tweaks check the following thread - it may prove useful: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=259113&highlight=hide+sim+contacts

Are you sure that it's not from an application that you might have installed?
VERY SURE
clean install
they come from the sim card. I think (but not sure) that every phone courier has it burned into their sim card.
you can hide sim card contacts using the AdvancedConfig tool from Schaps, do a search to find it on the forum.
solution
I had the same...
Just install a config-app like schapps advanced config on your phone and uncheck "show sim contacts"....

Saving contacts to sim?

Ok so I get a call from an unknown number, figure out who it is so want to save the number to my simcard so when I install a new ROM I don't loose it.
So I go to the number
Menu > Save as new contact > Type the whole name in the first name field > Save
This has saved the contact to my phone because they don't appear in the sim manager.
When I go "Copy to sim" its all greyed out.
How do I copy numbers to my sim card or set the to be stored on the sim card by default?
Start --> Programs --> SIM Manager --> Menu --> Contacts to SIM --> check the contacts you want to save --> save.

Not sure this does everything you want, but try this reg entry:
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone with your favorite Registry editor, then change / add a value of ShowSim with a value of 0.
or, in other words:
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone]
"ShowSim"=dword:0
Click to collapse
change the value to 1, to unhide the sim contacts
