Wizard my love, but with problems

Hi,
I'v gpt a wizard (in fact qtek 9100) last two weeks. I'm new to xda/htc but extensivly used PPC for fun and work (developing) for last 3-4 years. I instaled my all beloved software games etc. I'm so happy. I think that connecting a gsm to the ppc is a great stuff.
But now problems:
It hangs quite often. I have :
IPL 1.01
SPL 1.06
GSM 01.01.10
OS 1.1.7.5
The problem is with the wakeup. It dose not whant to turn on and only way is reset (thanks god soft...)
The question to you guys is the following do u recomend me to upgrade rom (and to what version) or You think i should go exersise my warranty....

upgrade to the latest ROM with AKU2.

No it should not affect your warranty as it is a qtek rom.

Noobie Ques: Can my SPV M600 update with Dopod 818 pro ROM?

Dear All,
I am new to this forum which i just joined today. Currently i am trying to figure out my newly bought SPV M600 from u.k but i m located in Malaysia. Any errors or failure on my SPV M600 will be a nightmare for me because i cannt get back to U.K and fix the SPV M600.
After i surf through the whole prophet section, i didnt able to get a proper guidelines on updating the ROM in SPV M600 to Dopod 818 pro ROM. First of all is it possible that i update the Dopod 818 Pro latest ROM? Is it compatible?
If yes please teach me the right ways to perform it. I really scare that my SPV M600 will be gone.
Any specific intruction on the update? To make it perfect?

Don't worry about your SPV m600 ther's no need to get it back to UK..You just have to search around in this forum..go to Prophet Section, surely you'll find tolls nedded and instruction

what is the SPL / IPL of your phone?
I have an M600 myself and on an Orange ROM and wonderig if the Dopod ROM is better and the pros and cons of upgrading from orange to dopod.
Also pls be sure that once you have flashed to a non orange rom u cant go back to the orange rom as it aint available nowhere.

when i try yo go through the wiki.xda-developers.com and under the phophet section there is no information. all the links seems contain no information. wondering where to start from.

Be aware that if you upgrade to Dopod, there's no turning back for now with this rom, meaning you won't be able to downgrade until a solution is found.
I have installed myself that dopod rom instead of the orange FR one, and I think it have better speed, but appart of that, don't really see the difference appart from some stuff missing in the dopod (like pvplayer for live tv and the rotate screen) and some useless stuff in dopod like auto config for Asian phone providers.
In my case I've update to dopod because it was the better rom atm and I wanted to get rid of that AZERTY french keyboard config which is far from handy on a phone and have a QWERTY.
Now it's up to you to know if you wanna risk it :wink:

another thing cedrick when i update with the dopod rom anything i should be focus on? just click and install...is that all?

You will need that novendon check exe to install that dopod rom.

search through google and xda-developers and return no results. May i know where to get it?

This is the on you'll need (it already have a NoVendorID by Machingod)
You just have to follow the instruction (and don't be affraid if upgrade get stuck on 80% and 95% it's normal, just wait).

cellchamp: currently i am waiting the response from dopod malaysia about the support on SPV M600. because i asked them whether they support it when it is broken or any failure on it. waiting for thier response. Currently my phone just purely for calling only and i cant GPRS and MMS.

Yes, Germany has the 1.13.111.1 GER and Austria has the 1.13.112.1 GER. You could add your infos to the wiki.

only for your information:
a original HTC P3300 has the ROM build Number 1.12.407.1 GER
(Today 12-11-06 I received a P3300)

Hi, I have just bought a Ford Mondeo MKIV, and it has a radioCD Sony with BT, V2C.. etc.., but I have a problem when I try to link the PDA and the radio to use the BT handsfree, I have been checking in the web and I have seen that the unit has been tested with a phone which had the rom version 1.13.111.1 GER.
I'd like to test this rom with my car
Could somebody tell me where can I get this rom?

PDAMobiz Prophet WM6 V1.00 is easy to turn dead?
In the first half day of using it, it is excellent! But after that, it is easy to be "dead" while running some program,say while searching for contacts! And even after soft reset, it can't be opened smoothly!

What roms can i use after i UPgrade to 6.1

I recently upgraded from wm5 to wm6.1. and my IPl/SPL are up graded to 3.08.

and im wondering what other roms would i be able to do.
i want to use a Diamond Rom like this one

Your phone is a wizard?? (mda vario) then look in the windows mobile 6 section of the wizard forums.
There is a diamond rom for the wizard in there im sure.

Well, you do know that the Slim 4.0 ROM IS indeed a Diamond based ROM right? The other Diamond ones are not very different from it.
