Hi I have just got a XDA exec from O2 the question is how can I send and recieves on my outlook email via Wire less and not via the phone ?
if you are reffering to using active sync or directpush with an exchange server, you can only do it over gprs. microsoft disabled it over wifi so that you would not drain your battery.
Hello everybody,
After to solve the problem with GPRS and multiple connections (CallerID) I have another problem:
My Mails and Calendar are sync from MS Exchange 2003 by GPRS. This is OK, but I want to sync Contacts and Files by PC (USB) and it isn't possible. When I plug the PDA to PC, in sync screen there isn't progress in SyncPC progress bar and nothing happens.
Does anybody know a solution?
I think the problem comes when I updated with a new ROM, but I only suposse it, because I had not Exchange ready to sync by GPRS.
Thanks,
Hi, I have an HTC Tytn II that I can sync with my work exchange server via active sync over GPRS. When I try to sync over Wifi it won't sync does anyone know how to fix this?
anyone started having problems with o2 uk pop3 mail server recently? When you use o2 network (gprs) connection hangs quite long time in the login proccess. I have tried with couple of software as well as pocket outlook
I currently have activesync set up to synchronise mail with m.google.com for my gmail, and calendar with Outlook on my work laptop.
If I connect to the laptop via usb cable, this all works fine. However, the bluetooth sync will not work, UNLESS I remove the email account from my HD2. Then the bluetooth sync with my laptop works perfectly, but I have to reinstate my email account after.
What's the fix for this? On Active sync I have email set as Exchange, Calendar set as PC.....as I say, it works over USB cable but not bluetooth.
Also, whilst on the topic of connectivity, Peep and MSN messenger are unable to connect unless I'm using WiFi. I'm on 1.61, is there a fix for this yet?
Cheers,
DC
