Read everything by Mamaich, Willem, Buzz and the other mythical beings.
Buzz has info on his site about decrypting roms. Willem's posts are fundamental knowledge on everything PDA. Mamaich is the man with the tools. They're like the A-Team of Rom Hacking; Buzz actually looks like Murdock.

Believe me we are being easy. But seriously there are stickies covering all of this. Read fingerlickin's guide at the top. It's either in here or in the Q n A section. Just read that and follow it to a T.
Just a thought but a thread like this where we can all use the "thread tools--->subscribe to this thread" would be nice. So please do NOT respond to this unless you have the OTA (or a direct link to the update). Just watch the thread and wait for news
