Hi guys!
I'm lookin' for a good WinXP theme for my jam... any link?!
I'd like to have WinXp GUI on my Jam but I can't find a good theme!
PocketWin and eXPerience are 2 apps that will make it look like you have Windows XP on your PPC. Check it out at websites like Handango.
You can also get Wisbar Advanced 2. There are loads of XP skins available for it.
CLICK HERE and look at the bottom post by me.
I'm using Wisbar Advance, and Wisbar Advance Desktop along with psShutXP. Basically the same as Xcilion's very nice Vista skin. The bonus of using these programs is that when you get sick of the XP look, it's so easy to change!
Oh and Wisbar Advance Desktop now has a new "Dock" feature which means you can create windows like in my screenshot, but you can drag them!
I know for windows xp & such, you can change the taskbar, and completely overhaul the look of it.
Are there any such themes for WM5 yet?
in simple yes.
look for things like sdp pocket plus to change the home screen layout.
or wizbar advance / desktop these will change the look and feel to your device as a theme would in say xp.
or flash it with wm6
it looks so much better ;-)
but indeed with programs like wisbar and spb pocket shell, you can mock it up
where can one find wm6 for 8125? I am using cingular service. Tried to upgrade ROM to 2.26 and it failed saying this upgrade is not for your device.
i saw a video where someone is showing his jasjar device with windows vista on it,so if someone has it,could you please post it here
this is the video where i saw it

Remote desktop.
LOL! You like to have this realy slow Vista on you're PPC??
It's actually quite quick once you get it going
Just a shame its only a qvga screen really - not much point to it.
do you know, where can I get it??? pls
There is no windows vista for any pocketpc, this is remote desktop mobile app whic is connected over wifi or other network to a vista pc
so you can not get it from anywhere because it simply does not exist
"do you know, where can I get it??? pls"
you already have it it's called therminal services
it's in your pda

The CPU of that device is an actual x86 device, the same as is in your PC. It's basically an ultra-small laptop. Meanwhile your phone has an ARM RISC chipset which is totally incompatible with Windows PC editions.
Nice scam
Hehe, nice to see, "Lokaal Station (C" in Dutch has got 18,5 GB free on his phone.. lol, would like to have that
(Local Disk (C)
windows vista is not for pocket pc and most probably this video might be of remote desktop or wisbar advance ...
however i heard rumors about an xp phone by hp...
I even have screenshots...

It is called xpphone (not too original on the name if you ask me), but it isn't from HP (at least not the one I saw)
Hello i'm new here.
I try many touch flow with my pocket pc ipaq 5450 with windows 2003 on it but nothing work. So i will apreciate if someone cant give me a link for a touch flow software for windows 2003 Thank you very much.
ps: I'm french so my english is not very good
it is unlikely that any touchflo alternatives might work on 2003.
I would believe that the internal workings are just too complex.
I run icontact on my pocket pc and its look similare and i installed HTC_Touchflo.cab and i only see a gray page with icon and all the stuff only one time.. i never see the page an other time
Someone have a hack or something to upgrade my 5450 to wm5 ?
How would I be able to get the Vista look/theme on my mogul?
Vista on PPC ?
Try Wisbar Advance 3 and Wisbar Desktop both apps are available at lakeridgesoftware website which also has a forum with "Themes" to change the look. I personally use both and acheived the look I was going for.....
