Any Software for Expense Tracking? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

This has been posted before I know.( I am Not referring to RMR expense report)
I am looking out for a proper software for My O2 Mini S (WIZARD) where I can keep a track of My Daily expenses and synchronise with My DESKTOP PC / LAPTOP on daily/ regular Basis.
The same is available in the name of HANDY EXPENSES (for NOKIA9300 or SONY ERICSSON P910i)
Thanx in advance !! :!:

have you tried Microsoft Money? there is the companion app pocket money that can syncronize between PC and Poket PC.
bye

I use Microsoft Money and sync with Spb Finance on my mobile. I know Spb Finance is usable without MS Money if you want to use it standalone.
It may be a bit overkill for just a few expenses though...

cmara - are you talking about MS's Pocket Money - this does not work on WM 2005 and they recently announced that Money 2007 will NOT support sync'ing to WM 2005 either!

sorry, I still use WM2003 with Pocket Money 2005 and this works....

Try TimeTTracker at www.rfcons.com. I have used it for years. Great time and expense tracking. Syncs to desktop version using ActiveSync.

Why MS decided not to support Money on the Pocket PC astounds me. Pocket Money was THE reason I bought my first PDA (XDA IIi) - I used it more than any other app.
Ours is not to reason why...

Thanx for all the Links Guys
I guess I can try EXPENSE PLUS coz It seems lighter than MS Money which otherwise too is Not required as mmm_ok has quoted It may be a bit overkill for just a few expenses though...

Microsoft Money 2004 not working on my XDA Mini S

I use Microsoft Money 2004 on my desktop and have no problems syncing it with any of my PDA's including my QTEKS100 running PPC Money 2004.
However when I install it on my Wizard it will not sync up with my desktop files. Active sync just goes into a loop trying to update the database ?
It only does this with the XDA Mini as all my other devices do sync fine if I choose to set them as the only device to sync with.
Is this a PPC Windows 5 compatibility problem ? I am getting really frustrated with this as I desperately need Money on my XDA
Money PPC and WM5
Unfortunately, this is a WM5 issue. Money PPC installs, but will not synchronise. The behaviour you see is what thousands of others have seen. There are a number of posts on this in this site, and also on the M$ web site.
There is no outlook on when, or even if, M$ intend to fix the issue. I have resorted to a program called Cash Organiser. It is not as simple as Money PPC but it works. SPB also make a similar package to synchronise with your desktop Money program.
Thanks for the reply, it helps explain a lot.
However, I did get it to work once on my device. Though I had to hard reset the machine again and it has never been able to do it again.
Very disappointed

What Finance proggie do you use?

Hi, just wanted to know a good finance program for my pocket, doesn't matter if it's a freeware or shareware. your recommendation is appreciated.
There are two main ones out there that are pretty good. Both support synchronization with MS Money (neither sync to the 2007 version yet but have updates pending) or Quicken. Very much suggest trying the demos of both to see what works for you best:
SPB Finance: http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/finance/?en
Inesoft Cash Organizer: http://www.inesoft.com/eng/index.php?in=premium.htm

Have used Cash Organizer for years!! Suits my needs allowing for scheduled/recurring transaction and setup of multiple accounts. Stores the transactions in registry dB's so upgrading app doesnt mean loosing all the data. Also provides very simple backup of data. Finally there is a today plugin if needed (I have never used that part)
Matt
I've tried all three (that I know of):
MS Money for Pocket PC (free)
spb Finance ($25)
Cash Organizer ($25)
MS Money is flakey, I've had it lose transactions. Also it doesn't want to sync with Desktop MS Money using AKU 2.3
SPB Finance seemed okay but I just didn't like the "Look & Feel" also there were some sync issues and I hate that. I just seemed a bit limited, you know felt like it should do more (seems mature compared to MS Money for PPC but really isn't).
I'm currently on the trial period of Cash Organizer and I'm loving it. It's almost like having full-blow MS Money on my phone and the sync hasn't failed me yet. I'm gonna buy this one!

Agreed. I had to migrate to Spb Finance, as well. Microsoft no longer supports MS Money for the Ppc.

It'll happen across the board, mark my words.
Symbian Live messenger is going to be charged for. This will happen within the next 30 days.
Yet another example of penny pinching microsoft's inability to respect its customers and why Symbian and Linux are taking such a huge chunk of their market from them.
Download Fring for an alternative with VOIP. It's free. Alternatively cough up the dough, or hope that Pidgin comes out for windows mobile.

X1 's Finance Software

Does anyone know any finance software which support the desktop modification and also syn to PDA ?
Thx
I use Inosoft Cash Organizer (http://www.inesoft.com/eng/index.php?in=products.html), this program can sync with Microsoft Money. I have been using the same program on my previous WM5 HP device and has always worked very well also working very well on the X1.
