I have searched all over this forum and the net for a simple versions of Monkey Island and DOTT that I can download and play on my XDA Mini.
I have seen a few mentions of it in various posts but no mention of where i can get it from.
I've seen a few other sites that have demo versions but I'm looking for the whole thing. I'm not looking for freebies or anything just a simple link with the games and a way of playing it on the XDA (Scummvm seems the best bet I guess)
http://www.scummvm.org/
You need originals of the games. You might be able to find these on abandonware sites. It's very easy to use/setup. Post if you have troubles.

Try torrent sites... if you don't mind throwing your ethics out the window
I know for a fact that there are torrents that have the images ready to work with ScummVM.

Search for freewares.
Just please don't ask for warez on this site. There are many other sites for that kind of stuff.

i dont think he was necessarily asking for warez.. i think he ment free games.. must be all the 420, makes for bad grammer

I also recommend following / reading my games reviews / news; I often review free titles. For example, I recommend S-Tris2 the most (see http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=1249&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 )

thank you, will do when i get home from work
hey all, ive been browsing these forums for quite a while. and i found tons of useful things, and tons of people *****ing about the thingss they dont understand.
id like to consider myself somewhat knowageable... nothing like the developers, but no dummy....
however i am looking for a way to get apps/games for the HD2... free things, things to pass time as i did on my last phones. is there a website, or a thread i havent found.... ive searched already.
can anyone send me off in the right direction???
thank you in advance!
Aside from the forums, and Windows Marketplace ( ), there's Omarket http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/omarket/
sweet, yeah i know the marketplace, but theres nothing worth what they are asking... but yeah ill check that out. i appreciate it! thanks daemonfly
And check out the place that omarket is listed at too, http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/
Google Windows Mobile Games and you will see tons.
If you are willing to pay for them www.handango.com is a slick site too.
Three out of the last four fridays, Handango has given away a free app which is usually only sold for a fee. Worth a look.
thanks guys, ill check them out. you guys are awesome...
happy hunting
http://hd2apps.blogspot.com/search/label/HD2 Apps
Check out Xtrakt and Experiment 13 - They were Sony Ericsson commissions for the Xperias, and are the best games I've come across for native WinMo (so excluding emulators) . Also, there's a pretty good port of Doodle Jump in French on Omarket. Think it's the Blackberry version, since it's touch controlled rather than G-sensor, but pretty awesome nonetheless.
Well I installed the emulator on my phone all good how can i get the games now? i dont have the ps1 and no games on me. please help
You could try looking in some charity or game shops for used games or even ebay (only couple of £ delivered because the games are pretty old now).
plenty of bargain PS1 games about. there is a guide on the FPSECE page about how to convert the disks to be used by your phone.
or search online for psx ROMs and see what google finds...

That's why nrfitchett4 didn't link any. He's smart enough not to post links to warez, etc!
The year is 2011, not 2010,09 or 08. Where are the decent games? I have searched and searched google and on here using my phone, why this site is so hard to navigate is beyond me, It would be nice to be able to write xda exec games/apps for example and be taken to a page where they are, FIDING OUT INFO ABOUT THIS PHONE IS HARDER THAN MY BREAK UP WITH MY EX WAS!
Please will someone post here a link to CABS where I can find games worth playing like, football manager games, racing, shooting, anything.
Google is full of sites showing the same boring games.
I do not have access to a laptop of computer so I need to be able to download using this phone.
PLEASE PEOPLE HELP OUT A BROTHER AND MAKE MY PHONE FUN.
I did find a Polish website with basic versions of tonyhawk and similar games but I can not find it again, why a polish website is the best I could find is a joke by its self.
PLEASE PEOPLE I NEEEEEED GAMES.

As you say "The year is 2011, not 2010,09 or 08", same applies for HTC Universal, which needless to say about it´s limited hardware not compatible with many of the 2011 games, starting on the resolution.
All you have is the VGA games list found on my sig link.
Hi there, I'm actually promoting my android game, and found it hard to find some reviewers, so I came with the idea that it could be great to start a thread to make a list of all the websites who reviews apps and games.
If you know some and you find the idea interesting, post the website you know as an answer to this thread and I will update my post :
- 148apps
- TechCrunch
- Gizmodo
- TheNextWeb

That's a nice list, but the author use it to sell another list, which, in my opinion, should be free.
Pocketgamer.biz

Nice list
Nice List, I have been scouring the internet to find good ones.
I'm glad to find this topic. I was thinking to open a separare one, but this one correlates with my question, so I'll ask it here.
Any Android gaming forums that covers upcoming game out there?
Does anyone know any decent Android forums devoted to gaming (with upcoming games section) like TouchArcade for iOS? I mean with daily activity like on TouchArcade.
(except those already mentioned - they don't have active 'Upcoming Games' sections)
Good list

Good list, and it includes sites that people actually visit. However, imo reviews outside of the app stores don't mean a great deal. You'll get much further by putting your app in front of the right people and having them talk about it, embedding social features in your app to encourage people to talk about it, encouraging good reviews and managing bad reviews (offering good support is one way to do this).
Honestly, these lists are quite outdated.
As soon as I finish sending emails around I will post an updated spreadsheet on our website.
