Hi Vijay,
I have been using VJVolubilis with Mort Scripts to start BT before I launch my GPS app on my Cingular 8125 phone (aka HTC Wizard). After Cingular brought out the v2.25.11.1 WWE, it now has a new Comm Manager that allows me more options compared to just having Wifi & Bluetooth control. It now allows more controls. I like the disabling of Direct Push Mail as it is the only practical way to continue to use my GPS application else GPSR downloads hogs the CPU and my navigation screen doesn't update. So, I would like to turn off Direct Push in my script before launch the GPS app and turn it back on when I exit the GPS app. Just like BT on and off using VJVolubilis. See the screenshot of the new Comm manager below:

Can anyone help??
the ipaq uses a diff BT software and stack than the imate JAM. AFAIK it is default at \My Documents and you cannot change it, well maybe a registry hack can help.
The Bluesoleil BT stack lets you change it in its own settings...........
thx bnycastro and Heimiko very much.
May i ask hoe to hack registry, change which value.
Thx in advance
hehe no idea on which value to hack as i am no expert

I'm looking for the Today Plugin that has the Bluetooth Headset Profile. It activates and deactivates it just by pressing the display.
Windows Mobile 2003 has it in the Today Screen. The WM2003 Second Edition doesn't have it...

Terminal services is built into your JasJar and XP. Hunt around for some info on the subject.
This is a screenshot from VJFullscreenTSC, a hack to run it fullscreen.
VNC is also a good (preferable, IMHO) solution.

got the software cant get it to connect
hopefully logmein gets made working with wm5 for dimwits like me
Check that your firewall on the pc isn't blocking the connection.
Also ensure that the Terminal Services service isn't disabled.
I use PhoneAlarm for turning my BT on and off acording to a schedule, however I'd like to do the same for GPRS but I can't figure out how to do it.
I found this utility: http://www.pdainfo.org/forum/index.php?topic=99.msg279
It seems like it's supose to do what I want but it's in french and my french is rusty. Does anyone know if there is an english version of this software or if there's something else out there that will do what I want.
Thanks.
Leon.
Now is in English too ;-)
You could use VJVolubilis with a free task scheduler to enable/disable at various times using the notification queue.
I think PhoneAlarm can do timed profile changes though can't it?

Hi!
Does anybody know a way to have a shortcut which will toggle (on/off) the Phone's Radio and/or the Bluetooth and/or the WiFi and/or Infrared?
Thank you
No such software I suppose?
vjvolubilis
try out battery status from http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_BatteryStatus_XDA_Neo_WM5_iM_cs.htm
you can have some icons right at the bottum of the screen to turn what you want on & off.

The answer of ww2250 was EXACTLY what I was looking for because I don't want to have many programs loaded into the memory.
Never a single word answer was so helpful as this...
Thanks
Same thing but for WM6 please
