Part of a bigger project, we are happy to release the CapturePro alpha version as a freeware.
This software will allow you to make screenshots of your mobile device's screen. Even better you dont have to install anything on your mobile device. Just connect the device to the PC via Active Sync, run the CapturePro on your PC, and the image on your mobile device's screen will be uploaded to your PC through CapturePro. The user has the option to save this image to disk.
To download this freeware, and to post your comments, visit this link, in the Freeware section of our Forum:

Absurd that everything in my calender and email syncs up - but after owning this phone now for over a month I still have not managed to figure out how to move other data or install programs.
It must be really easy. I just don't have a manual for the phone. Is there a site with the user manual?
Sorry for this stupid question...
try doing a google search for xda manual pdf i'm sure it's out there in plenty
you install programs if they are pc install programs but running the exe file on the pc then it will install using activesync
you install programs in form of cab files by double clicking on them on your device
you run exe files made for pda's by clicking on the pda they dont need installs
you get data to the pda by
1 putting the files in my pocketpc documents or what ever it's called in your my doc dir
2 clicking on the explore device button in activesync or clicking on the pda icon in my computer
thank you for that explanation. it worked! I did find the user manual as a pdf file. It was helpfull - but this forum seems ahead of the curve.
One last question - have most people on this forum with the XDA II upgraded to the magneto OS?
i havent
it being beta i'm waiting to see how stable and compatible it wil be when buzz and people are don with it
sure it's a toy but it's also a tool and my current rom does work for my current needs
Dear Reader,
I have downloaded a PDF software from the followin site for my XDA IIi,
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readerforppc.html
but it says 'AdbeRdr20_ppc_enu' is not a valid Pocket PC application. Kindly help me out. I need this software in my PC.
Thanks & Regards,
That's the installer .exe - you have to ActiveSync your PPC and run the .exe on your desktop PC.
Need your help
Now let me know what do i have to do if I need PDF software in Mobile?
Thanks & Regards,
Well, maybe I was too short in my first answer (or am _I_ getting *you* wrong?) ... anyway:
the thing that you downloaded from Adobe in fact _is_ the reader software for PocetPCs - _but_ it's not an exe, you simply copy onto your device (or maybe you downloaded it directly onto the PPC?), and it would run there.
Shure, it's an .exe file - but not for PPC. It's one for Windows, to be run on your desktop computer - as an installer for the PPC.
So, if you don't have it already on your workstation, move it there;
connect your XDA with ActiveSync to your desktop machine;
start the downloaded .exe on your desktop;
let the upcoming install shield lead you through some dialogs;
then that program will do the installation of Acrobat Reader 2.0 for PPC onto your XDA;
if the XDA asks you something, answer accordingly;
done.
It also installs some converter into ActiveSync, that tries to optimize transferred .pdf files for display on mobile devices (well, I switched it off ...).
But beware: as good as the Reader for PPC is (at least imho), it needs a lot of space (some 8MB).
Let me know, if I understood you completely wrong.
Greetings.
Thank You it's working now
Hi Dear,
Thank you very much it's working now in my mobile.
Thanks & Regards,
Thank's Before...
i need some help...
may be forum can help me how to install net.framework 2 to wm2005 (XDA Zinc).
i hope yours......
First, download the file from Microsoft's site to your desktop.
Then, connect your device to the desktop via the sync cable. Double-click on the installation file on the desktop to begin the installation. It will begin installing to your device through the ActiveSync connection.
I've found that it will work either from the device or the storage card. However -- for "core components" such as this, I prefer installing to the device.
*because this is in the development section*
An easier way is to just deploy a .net project to the device using vis studio 2005. It will automatically install cf 2.0

This way is okay, but if you dont have that large a download allowance (like me) then dharvey4651's way is the best: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=338473 This method work in win7 and vista as the drivers are interchangeable.
Google translation from Russian.
1.When you try to include shows such a query:
2. Hard reset does not bring results, everything remains the same. When loading writes that operating system 6.5.
3. Activesync (winXP) and Windows Mobile Device Center (win7) offer before using the device to unlock it. Code is unknown to me, the computer device is not synchronized.
4. Flash the rom does not work. The reason - they do not see it (as it were). But in Device Manager device determines a driver on a well-established.

I can not find the official windose mobile of 2003. I read somewhere that it can help.
