Changing The XDA from German based ROM to English

Hi there !!!
I have resived a gift the O2 XDA from Germany and the OS is german
I'm from Israel and I have some problems understanding what it says.
Pls can some1 tell me can I and if yes than how make it an ENG version
Becouse when it comes to PDA's I know nothing of it.
If I can somehow replace the OS in it than where I can find it?

IS THERE ANY NEW GREEK ROM VERSION FOR 2020i,OR SOMETHING ELSE TO HELP THE DEVICE WORKING BETTER WITHOUT LAG OR STUCK AND OTHER PROBLEMS WITH CONNECTIONS-WIFI etc.?

Cantona no there is not dont try to put the ace rom in it or else you will damage the phone badly

Basically what you can do is download the ROM installation pack (the executable from Qtek.gr) Run it and before cancelling the application go to:
C:\documents and setting\%username%\Local Settings\Temp
there will be a folder Qtek 2020i
copy it to your desktop. Replace the ROMs you want with new-"foreign" one (i always use a different radio) to get the best combo-result.
The only thing missing at that point is the Greek keyboard (i really DO NOT LIKE the ace-hellas language extender thingie, it's poor, it crashes etc)
You can go to http://www.tranexp.com/win/PocketKeys-grk.html and download the software. It's a simple and nice greek keyboard.
Ofc you lose all the greek menus but i don't like them anyway.
Not a greek ROM but it's free and i hope it helps.

Is it possible for someone to write what we (Greeks) have to do to upgrade without problems our QTEK 2020i with a better ROM version? What rom we need, how can we find it and what supplemental programs (for example keyboard programs).
So we need a step by step procedure with links to these files.

i had xda and xda2 and been happy enough till i got qtek2020i..
tried to put fixed windows in it but "country code error" had to argue...
now i installed english ver of qtek 2020i with the no id exe but dont like it a bit
enyone knows how to pool this through bec i;m going to sell the darn thing after all that time with ppc's....

Where to get NOID.exe

I do need a AlUpgradeUT_noid.exe for my Alpine.
The One from Himalaya does not work
do you know where i can get it?
can u also tell me what is the most actual rom in GERMAN for the alpine

many thanks for this try, but this file is definetly not an noid-file.
it works well with english version, but it doesn´t work with german version.
if it sure is an noid.exe than there is no language-testing in it. so i think it has just the name of noid.exe but is in truth the original english update.exe.

so i still need the noid.exe update for the alpine.

Upgrade from wm 2003 to wm 6,1

I am new here. I have downloaded rom from this forum. ( I can´t upload link )
but I don´t know if it will work, when right now I have old 2003 distribution.
Second problem, I dont know how can I put WM6.1_v.1.6_Feeler.bin in phone, with which tool ?
ps: my SDA is blocked on t-mobile, will this rom upgrade unlock it ?

Polish MUI For WM 2003 SE

Hi, I know it's kinda old, but I need to ask about this . I want to translate WM 2003 SE for Samsung i300 and that's why I need you help. Does anyone have Polish MUI files for this OS? Thanks in advance .

Good luck on that one! Maybe see if you can download an old 2003SE rom update from Asus. I think the asus mypal a734 (or something like that) got an update to SE, and I guess you could get the lang stuff from there, if you're lucky.
